- Mambajao is the capitol city of Camiguin Island and Province. It's a small city, but it finds a way to be crowded. These scenes were taken on a few separate occasions. I hope you enjoy having a look.
Thanks for sharing. Beautiful and sunny one moment, beautiful and rainy the next.
Wow amazing place...its nice tobe back home..
Great footage. Good to see the layout of the town. Going there on October. Cheers!
luv this place, luv all those mangoes. Always stay con to YT community.
Nice place po..i was there before nung pauwi ako bukidnon...i really love that place..#kirovlog
I love mambajao camiguin island, safe and peaceful place. I love camiguin island, my father born and grew up in Sagay camiguin island. The uayan family.
MY wife is from Davao City, her mom's family is from Camiguin......alot of family still there.Enjoyed the video.I avoid the tricycles,I barely fit in a Jeepney.........like to sit upfront with the driver:).
Well, I don't like tricycles, either. To sit comfortably in one you'd need to be no larger than a 10 year old kid.
I lived at camiguin with my dad's family and my sister 6 yrs ago we lived there almost 5 yrs. Thid place is so pretty ngl.
Nice place and view, keep safe po enjoy, your db
Great video, really enjoyed it.
Thanks. One of my first videos here.
Great place. Keep safe. #kiro vlog
The Mercedes bus at the end was cool!
Man , you got guts making this move. I envy you a bit! Looks like a great place!!
Hope ya'll are settling in well!
It's been an adventure. Janiene's school hasn't lived up to expectations, though. We need to find something better.
American Expat In The Philippines Maybe she can start teaching?? Just a little dry humor, hope you can upgrade the education level!!
Good luck! keep the vids coming! This is interesting stuff! Show food, religion, medicine, superstition, anything you are comfortable filming! This is very interesting...to me at least!
There are no shortages of things for me to make videos of, that's for sure. I gotta say, though, that I haven't really had a meal here yet that really made me happy, and that even includes my own cooking. Getting the ingredients for things is a challenge. I'm going to make a video about it.
American Expat In The Philippines If you need something shipped to you let me know. You may have to explain how to navigate customs, but I don't mind. I also have pay pal if that is an option for sending money to cover things. My time is free, heck, it could be fun doing a shopping vid to send stuff to you!!! LOL!!...The more I think about that the better it sounds!!
Take care buddy! Holler if you need anything!
Thanks. I WILL holler if I need to, so I hope you don't regret saying that.
I see you got rain there too. Missouri ha had quite a bit this week. I did not realize there were not that many cars in use there. It look like a nice place though. Hope you and your family are doing well. E :)
It seems to rain here every day, and when it rains, it mostly rains hard. Still, up until now the rain hasn't lasted very long. As far cars are concerned, most people here are very poor. A car for most is an undreamed of luxury. They usually have a place to live, the forest is full of fruit, and a lot of them plant gardens and keep chickens. It's a simply life, but most seem happy.
I love watching all the tiny buses. Were the mango trees your mango trees?
I don't know if there is much we can get in Canada that won't be cheaper in the USA... still, let me know if you need anything from here. :)
They call those things tricycles. It's inexpensive transportation, but they're very uncomfortable to ride in. Those mangoes belonged to my wife's cousin. He's a high powered attorney, and his goal is a seat on the Philippine Supreme court. Most think that's a very attainable goal for him.
There's plenty from Canada that's cheaper than here, and some things are just not available here. Things like electronics, underwear and socks come immediately to mind, but there's plenty more. I REALLY appreciate your offer, and I may well take you up on it. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing sir :) :) :)
I'm happy you liked it.
Ephraim Luspo From mambajao camiguin beautiful place more fun in camiguin Mambajao
I wonder if the new mall will make it even more fun once it's finished.
Man those motorcycle taxis just blow my mind! they look fun to drive! Like cheeky saver said, if you need anything, Id be glad to help. I hope your life is as perfect as can be over there. I know it has to be a far cry from the hustle and bustle of cali.
It's different, that's for sure. I may well take you up on your offer to send me some things. The mail is unreliable here, though. Maybe there's an LBC office near you. If so, then sending things in a Balikbayan box is the best way to send things. It takes 6 weeks for things to arrive, but it's the most reliable and secure way to do things.
Those "tricycles" might be fun, but the traffic here is nuts. Rules of the road are more like suggestions at best.
Be well, my friend.
I like this place...😅
It's an interesting city, to be sure.
Nice little town... Wheres the nearest mall? :) heh heh
Cagayan De Oro, and it's a ferry ride and a 2 hour drive away. I don't mind much. I just have to plan things well.
i miss camiguin island
That's understandable. Still, once the malls are built, plus the big hotels that have been planned, Camiguin will never be the same. For better, or for worse, Camiguin will change.
Parang gusto ko manirahan dito ah
Maybe you can make it happen one day.
American Expat In The Philippines maybe.....?
I really miss my Philippines it a nice video thank for sharing this place video of Philippines stay safe .. try to visit my house ang share your banana also have a nice day to you
where r d Lady Boys??
Maybe so, but try telling the downside to Camiguin as well. Ultra slow
to NO internet. Electrical blackouts several times a month sometimes per
week. Tourist prices! Food costs higher than other places in the
Philippines. Transportation sucks. etc. Full on corruption.
