    I just got a 2022 Spark 930 and love it. So many reviewers have complained about the twinloc system but I absolutely love it. It's basically a hardtail when climbing and a plush feeling trail bike on the descends. It doesn't get better than that!

      Hi, I know this comment is from a year ago, but let me ask you, is that good at climbing? Im between this and the Scale RC which is 1.2 kg lighter and I will not take too much technical terrains. I dont know what model to chose.

    Good choice. I picked up the older Spark RC (110f/100r) over the Epic. Made more sense for my BC trails, but I have often wondered about differences between those two as well as new and old RC. Looking forward to future vids.

    Thanks for the great introduction to the RC Team. I'm curious about how you will add a dropper post to it. Are you going to use an additional remote for the dropper (or can you buy the three-lever version from Scott) and does this model include the internal dropper cable guide around the shock? Easy to do? Thanks.

    • @addictcyclist
      @addictcyclist  Рік тому +1

      Thanks! I got a fox remote top mount remote. the three lever is too busy and flexy with the added dropper lever. There is a internal cable guide molded into the seat tube. This is very easy to do.

    Where did you buy this bike? I'm waiting for Scott Spark RC for like 2 years ready to throw money to Scott. They are nowhere on market, at least not in Europe. Distributors have no info about availability, Scott is not responding ...

      Florida. I own 2 sparks. Can get them in US.

      I life in Switzerland where they build those bikes and couldn't get this Bike in my Size for over a year, not even the Yellow comp ( or the frame) to build one up for myself. The trail version often had alloy rear ends and Scott never got cheaper here. I have a friend that runs a local Bike shop and even he could get me this bike for a reasonable price..they sell those for like 6-7k Euro
      During this time I fell in love with the Stumpjumper Bike. I endet up paying 3200 Euro( price on the Bike-Box was over 5000 Euro) for the Stumpjumper Comp Carbon 140mm x 130mm and now a year later I still smile every time i use it!

      @@IIISentorIII I bought this bike approx. 2 months ago finally for like 5k euro. I wanted black color but available was only white, it's still ok. But I got it only because I was repeatedly contacting our distributor in Czechia and they told me they had only one piece of this bike in this size per year. It was never even listed on web shop. I guess I was lucky. I'm glad you like your new bike, this one is also cool.

    • @IIISentorIII

      @@Romtu Hey congratulation on your Bike! I saw the white one in person and I think it is absolutely stunning with that "pearl" white. My Stumpjumper also came in white and I love the glossy color on the carbon frame.
      Also the components on your Bike are a dream, and so is the Bike itself ( I did test-ride those Bikes for weeks) and own a older Scott genius with 150mm x 150mm and twinlock. It is well worth the 5k in my opinion since a-lot of engineering went into the new frame design and internal shock.
      My Stumpjumper Carbon Comp was also not available in my size S4 (large) but Specialized did build it for me over a period of 6 Weeks and I also have a XT- group-set on my bike. It has Internal frame storage which I fell in love with during the last Summer :)
      Cheers and happy riding!

    That's funny. As you're complimenting the raw carbon you think it's dirt and try to rub it out. Epic.

    • @addictcyclist
      @addictcyclist  Рік тому

      It was a dirt water spot. Needed to spray auto detail to clean it. Matte does not clean as easily as gloss.

      @zap... Рік тому +1

      @@addictcyclist I was just teasing. I like the look unpainted unidirectional carbon. Really difficult to keep clean and matte finish are kinda fragile. There are matte frame protection films that would look much nicer on that frame.

      Too soon to tell and that was also in mind as I have had bsa threaded on mtb and t47 threaded on road. I feel the bb92 is less prone to issues due to how wide it is?

    • @stefanstrandqvist9530
      @stefanstrandqvist9530 Рік тому

      After four months(3) I had to replace it. Scott claims that it is not a complaint that they accept. haven't even ridden in real wet and mud with it. Then I had my old Scott Scaale 910,, with Chris King bottom bracket (world class on these) Real crap quality Race Face Bottom bracket.. Also having problems getting the lockout to work. The cable sheath is too thin and cracks to the rear damper. Then the lockout doesn't work either.

    • @johnlesoudeur3653
      @johnlesoudeur3653 Рік тому

      I believe the early Twinlock had a design flaw with a too small pin at full lockout that they have now rectified. I bought a pre-used bike from a guy that was useless in maintaining it properly. He said that the lockout did not make any difference but all it needed was setting up properly and some slack taken out of the cable. A pressure washer will finish off the Raceface BB in no time if it is not regreased.@@stefanstrandqvist9530
