Hello, very well explained, I want to know if you can tell me how to calibrate and if you give me the values for each exhaust valve as for intake of this three-cylinder TOYOTA YARIS second series 2° XP9 (2005/2011)

I'm curious what position should the keyway be for the crankshaft pulley? Mine is roughly at 11oclock. Thank you for the video!

Do you have any idea what the km limit is when the timing chain needs to be changed for Toyota Avansis 2.0 petrol?
I want to buy one that has 170,000 km.
Do you think it will take you at least 50,000km?

Ok it says to rotate ccw to unhook the catch then cw to snap out the plunger. This is all after you load the tensioner by latching the plunger

Hi Peter, is the Crankshaft Mark on the Pulley always set at Number "10"?,I have a Rav 4 2008 with same Engine and Crank Marks are set at "0".
A Mechanic recently changed Piston Rings but Engine appears to be running Rich from exhaust smoke with high fuel consumption. So decided to check whether timing was correctly done.I want to be sure if the crank mark should be at "10" or "0"..thanks!

I watched a few of your videos on this Toyota timing chain, helpful videos, however I set the chain in all 3 of the markings but the chain skips a gear when I turn the crankshaft bolt to see if the chain runs its course correctly, any thoughts?

Why do you put it to 10°c, because in the book it says it has to be on the top not 10°c, that's where I get confused

Also confused about this becoz on bonnet of the Rav 4,it says 10° BTDC, The Engine Manual says 0°...cam gear Marks appear to align with crankshaft pulley at 0° on my RAV 4

The tensioner is deployed already. It does because he was pausing the turning.Otherwise when the engine is running out of such things are rare

That timing is still not correct. You need special timing tools to set that timing
