Surely a mongoose family is no match for a cheetah... Or is it? 😨
Love and loss, jealousy and rivalry, tragedy and triumph as the lives of the animals entwine and dramatically unfold in the heart of this legendary land.

It's just wonderful how brilliant these critters are. They are so brave. All for one and one for all. Blast
Amogus
I get the impression this whole video is a made-up story with edited clips taken from different times and places. I don't think that mongoose and its kid were ever part of the same event/scene with that cheetah. I've seen many click-baity animal world youtube channels doing this, but I'm surprised even BBC does this.
Creatures. Not critters
As a Zimbabwean wildlife conservationist and animal lover who works at Bumi Hills, Lake Kariba, we have the most amazing privilege to look after two young, female banded mongoose we called Thelma and Louise. The love and affection these little angels give is infinitely adorable. We love them so much. We are delighted to report they are rehabilitated and fully integrated with a wild troop. They even have babies of their own. Although they still visit for love, cuddles and a quick snack. ❤️❤️🐾🐾
is that right
let me guess ; overprotective
where is dawg and dodge TODAY
own the rice
guess who he blames
It’s really crazy to think that hyenas are close relatives of these mongooses, and quite distant relatives of dogs.
Team work at its very best.
When they started singing at 2:30...that was my favorite part. Who knew they were so talented?
That fly at the end near entrance to mongoose den acts like security.
One fly guard always tells the truth, the other one always lies.
Amazing solidarity and group support
We as humans should take note
at 2.55 just before shes about to take off to rejoin the rest of the group, there was something crawling out of the bush right behind her. i thought she forgot a few babies, but it had to be a few rats or something lol
*Wow, that mongoose really knows how to handle itself in an animal fight! Nature's fierce battles never cease to amaze*
The cats are so beautiful.
Imagine if we humans had that same sense of solidarity.....
WHY BECAUSE HE'S IN THE CLOSET AND MIGHT GET EXCITED AND COME OUT 😂🤣😭👬
All animals here are so cute 🥰
Mongoose VS Honey Badger. Place. Bets. Now. BANZAI!
1:34 nice hiss
Reminds me of the Banded Brothers going up against those Marabou Storks
They make wonderful paintbrushes.
অসাধারণ এদের একতা সত্যিই সহজে ভাইয়ের জন্য এদের অনেক দরদ মানুষের মধ্যেও নেই সত্যিই অসাধারণ
AMONGUS
The mongoose remind me of meerkat
Well funny enough the Mongoose have a symbiotic relationship with Warthogs
@@lunkrhino4029 what?? warthogs? how come?
It's like me with the Odspecker, They eat ticks and flies off the Warthogs skin
Totally! Meerkats are in the mongoose family, but Mon...geese? are a lot bigger.
What's the plural of mongoose?
Looks like the filmmakers are scaring the cheetahs with a drone and other cameras an awful lot to create this POV/storyline.
Yeah, the sequences are stitched together to make a narrative for the audience for sure. I don't mind that so much as long as they're not seriously misrepresenting the behaviour of the animals. If they're manipulating them with drones on the other hand, I wouldn't like that at all.
That’s what I thought. Too many stitched together snippets of film too.
It was a dope ass shot though and made you feel like the mongoose in that moment and barely bothered the cheetah. But I also noticed it's body language and flipping it's tail. They definitely agitated it
This video dedicated for all MongoDB developers

That's not true, mongoose don't taste revolting
What animal?
👍👍🤣🤣💐💐🏃🕺🕺
Yo this is CGI btw...
First of all, I have a feeling that these shots are not shot in sequence but just montage together. Second, the choice of music and voice over are hideous, feel like a disney cartoon. BBC could do so much better
🎉
I thought the PLURAL of "mongoose" was "mongooses" - Oxford English Dictionary.
Come on BBC.
Teamwork makes the dream work.
M 🦘🏏😎
Thank you, I was wondering what the plural was
