I love how the mama cow is mooing like, "everyone, come see what I made." So beautiful.
She’s proud !
So precious 😊
@@DaleFarm just dont put the clips in the cow's ears.
This is idea of MAFIA which call themselves "government" - they are thieves and swindler who want to steal everything from us.
We need to say STOP to their stealing !!
I disagree. Mom calls to her calf so calf will know her voice. Notice how others cows are silent. And notice how other cows stay away except the younger one whom mom pushed back. Mom is protective.
Nothing to do with happiness of others seeing her baby.
@@legendofzelda2324So you’re an expert I see. 😒
I love how interested all the other cows are.
So sweet.
Thank you xx
@@DaleFarm
And the mom moos on and on about how happy she is haha.
They're protecting them.
@@anniefannycharles9951 Yep. From predators. It happened to me before, helping a calf.
Reminds me of how elephants gather round when an elephant gives birth.
I love how the herd stands around her for protection and aid.
Yes it’s a group effort
And they’re curious about the new addition to the herd!
Nah. Cows are just nosey. Next time you pass a field of them lean over the gate. They will all come over to have a look at you.
Are you vegetarian?
@@helenamcginty4920
They startle easily with strangers. They usually run away from you.
Highland cattle are cute in general. To see a newborn being cleaned and stimulated by mama is just awesome. The juvenile carefully coming over to explore the newcomer in curiosity was adorable.
Are you vegetarian?
Looks beautiful
Amazing how the instincts are built in to tell it what to do - I love all the others standing around ready to 'help' - they are such beautiful creatures ! Thank you for this wonderful little view of cattle family life !
Thanks for enjoying
They are curious not helpful.
@@deannarichardson752 its probably also a defensive mechanism when new born are born we gather so the wolfs wont prey on the new one also i would imagine (more eyes more defense) + as you say curiosity like welcoming a new member to the heard. but ye im just talking out my ass and guessing but most social animals depend on each others numbers for safety especially new borns 🤣🤣🤣
They are helpful with their presence alone being there
Our creator built instinct into them & you.
I love how the other cows are so interested in the new arrival.❤ Looks like me trying to stand up in the morning.
Hehe they were all very nosey indeed! X
Poor thing toppled over
😂😂😂
Hahaha 🤣 that makes two of us😘
Why don't you ask them to show you HOW THEY MURDER THEM AFTER? If you're not VEGAN they YOU'RE part of the problem! Murder your own human babies not that of the Voiceless!!
This is so adorable. I love when the calf finally stands up and is just still. It’s like he’s thinking “OK I stood up. Now what do I do? Ah ok, omg which leg do I move 1st?”
But I don’t find adorable is that the person videotaping it allows eight minutes to go by without walking over to help the baby stand up. If I were there I would go over immediately to help the baby stand up. Not just friggin videotape it and upload on UA-cam.
@@gmar7836 Although you may want to help, unless it was in danger, it's the worst thing you could do. Highland calves have been born and learned to stand in this way since they were first documented in the 6th century. This is how nature created it and we should not interfere. The BEST thing to do was videotaping it and uploading on UA-cam for everyone to see the wonders of nature.
armers are scum!...we all know what gonna happen to this animals in the future!!!...stupid ignorant people with the " so cute" comments makes me sick
Thank you for your understanding of the situation. Sometimes humans tend to want to respond to animals in a human way, but actually it’s better to allow animals to act naturally.. and only intervene IF totally needed. Our approach is to let the animals be as natural as we can
@@DaleFarm blah blah blah blah get a decent way of making money!....you are a dairy farm not Disney world .....shameless people
There is a lesson here for all of us. Namely, the patience and gentle encouragement of the mother and the determination of the young calf. We've thrown away nature's guide book, beautiful videos like this can help us find it again. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Love this comment, it’s so true, thank you
It is instinct and survival. There is no book?, lovely as it is to see.
If you go solely by Darwinian concepts you might have a point. However, I still believe that nature has a little bit more to offer than mere instinct and survival etc. Animals are capable of acts of altruism as has been shown in many examples.
No we haven’t
It is important to understand that these gentle animals were forcibly impregnated. The babies are constantly brought into existence to replace their mothers that will soon be sent to a horrific slaughterhouse.
Farms such as Dale farm destroys nature from ever existing by threatening all life.
Try to follow ones heart by keeping their exploited dead bodies out of our bodies.
This is precious. The love and care the Momma shows for her baby as it tries to stand up...is awesome!
Thank you xx
Are you vegetarians?
What a trooper! No fussing, no tantrum, just pure will to get this done. Patient mother isn't judging or scolding. And how civil the bystanders are ... Observant, but no interference, no snickering, no commenting on how they would have done it better. And no one's on their phone! What a bunch of pleasant ... non-people.
The calves do actually brag about it on social media but don’t tell anyone I told you that.
Savrseno...🤣👏🏾👏🏾🫶
I’ve seen it so many times, but it’s always fascinating to watch them stand for first time. I liked way the other younger ones gathered around
They were very interested it was amusing to see! Especially the big sister calf (November is her name!)
@@DaleFarm I thought one of those yearlings might have been her 2020 calf.
I don't know why someone won't help it to stand up even if this was a year ago
Curious but also welcoming! I love the sense of family among highland cattle 🐮
@@suehix5711 they need to learn on their own
Красавиц родился.Смотрю и радуюсь рождению. Как мама заботится. Спасибо за видео.
Thanks for watching
Animals are not men or women nor does their creator deems them as men....you want to redo God's creation, sin filled human made from dirt ? You know better than Yahweh sinner ,?
I love seeing this shaggy little new moo❣️ Those first steps are always tough, for every hooved beastie. It's amazing how quickly they go from barely standing, to walking, to running, and its always a thrill to watch a calf's, or foal's, or kid's first steps!
Yes, they learn so fast. She was so quick and well established by the following day! Standing under her mummy!
This is mother nature at its finest. What a soothing video. Love it. And love the rest of the herd just standing by. And the mom is so trusting. ❤
Do you eat at McDonals?
It s so beautiful to see how the other cows are eagerly watching the new arrival into their society. Excellent video, I love the way the kid puts in effort to stand up the first time.
It's a call though, not a baby goat.... 😄 haha
What a good mother. The herd are gathering round and coming to see the new baby ❤
Yeah she is exceptionally loving x
No, cows are just stupid and surround anything in their field.
С днём рождения малыш! Боже,спасибо тебе большое за этот чудесный мир!!!!
Вы единственныц, кто познал истинный смысл творения ❤️
What gorgeous cattle! Mom is so tolerant of the curious others. Figuring out how to unfold those front legs ain’t easy! Ohhh - what a cutie! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching
Вау! какие красивые коровки! Малыш, с Днем Рождения тебя! Маме на радость, фермеру на радость 🙂👍
This is absolutely the sweetest thing ever! That baby is so precious and that mother is tending and loving it so sweetly. The others gathered around for supper are absolutely amazing! We should all take lessons from this on so many levels. Thank you for this endearing video!
The whole family is there for the calf. Wonderful.❤
They are very tender and curious with her!
Is the Bull present?
Mom is a stunning girl, and baby is determined to succeed. I love how his little front legs tremble with the effort of staying up towards the end! So cute!!
Thank you!
All of those trembles are amazing education of the interactions of the muscular and nervous systems. How marvelously the systems interact with one another until standing, then walking, then running and hopping are all done subconsciously with little effort.
Первотелка, это девушек телками называют
HER
It's survival instinct in the wild. All calves need to get on their feet pretty quickly, predators are always on the hunt
What a great Mom. The new little one is adorable. I found myself saying come on baby you can do it even knowing that the calf would get up. It was interesting that the other Highlands were so close to the baby and one Highland was sniffing and almost touching the calf. The Mom didn't bat an eye. Thank you for sharing it was wonderful. Take care.
Yes me too! I was like come on! Yes!!! Love that it kept trying! And so brand new! Soon it was drinking but we gave them some space xx
I wonder if that young cow that came close was an older calf of the mother...
💯 right this is a adorable baby.
Ahhh
Highland cows are such beautiful creatures and seem very gentle. I have never seen one before.
What a wonderful video. Mothering instinct amazing and the other cattle keeping a respectful distance. Beautiful to watch. Thank you and good luck to the little one.❤️
Thank you Marg xx
Thanks for showing the new born learning how to stand up the first time!
And I am so happy to see that human do not intervene the process!!!
I love the Highlands. Being from the States, we don't see too many over here. I find it so loving that the rest of the herd were standing around watching as Mom was cleaning the wee one up. From what I was told, the Highlands are quite protective of their young, so I was surprised that Mom let the others so close. This was so charming. Thank you for uploading this vid.
They are super protective and great mothers! They know that we care for them so we are familiar to them , but I wouldn’t push my luck as they could still be dangerous
armers are scum!...we all know what gonna happen to this animals in the future!!!...stupid ignorant people with the " so cute" comments makes me sick
@@DaleFarm Yeah they're super protective. Thats why they bellow non-stop with grief and chase after the vehicle taking away their baby. They're super protective but are helpless when monsters like you come to take whats "yours."
You sicken me.
I rarely saw them in other parts of the country, but here in the northwest they are much more common- at least 3 herds within 5 miles of my house. They are my favorite
that's so precious to watch a mama taking such good care of her baby 🧡💛🧡
She is such a wonderful mother

Except for the monkeys.
I have seen mothers kill and the cruelty they have for their

Congratulations precious Mommy! What a precious calf you have & Very Lucky to have the herd welcome your baby. ❤ ❤ Blessings To All Animals Big & Small. 😃 ❤ ❤
Thank you so much Yolanda
Mom is "talking" to the baby so her call can be recognized from the others. She's encouraging him to move and stand up.

This is absolutely heartwarming! Watching the newborn Highland calf take its first wobbly steps is such a precious moment. Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience with us.
Mama moo is talking to her baby as if to encourage it. The baby is instinctively knew to stand up, and kept trying until it succeeded. A big lesson here for us, try, try and try again until you make it, never give up!

Hey Mommy.....you gave birth to the cutest calf.... ♥️♥️ congratulations 👍👍
Thank you x
These Highland Cattle are so beautiful! The baby is so cute! Thank you for sharing 😉
Thank you for enjoying
They all stood around quietly watching, I felt like I was watching a Disney movie. The scenery is breathtaking and the cows are adorable, they look like shaggy dogs. The little baby was the sweetest. Thank you for sharing your amazing video of newest family addition ❤ 🐄
It's just so endearing how they waited for permission ... cautiously approached ... were all so focused and interested in the calve ... and helped, emulating what the mom was doiing. Just beautiful.
This is absolutely precious and beautiful! My heart melted to see this ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you xx
It is impressive to see how the mother is checking and cleaning the grass of traces of the birth. I am also amazed that she does not seem to mind having humans so close.
They are very protective mothers for sure
Maybe they’re using a long lens.
I had no idea that’s why she did that, amazing!
She knows the humans.
Maybe the humans are to some extent considered as "part of the heard"?
The beginning of life out of the womb, the little guy is just trying to get all systems downloaded , looking for all systems to go. It really is amazing of what has to occur, in order for that calf to get on its feet, and looking for nourishment from mom. Another great moment to observe the fight for life.
Congratulations, to you, Nick, and your dad you all should be very proud. 😁
Yes the first moments are incredible- I love watching that! And then all of a sudden, on their feet and drinking
Far better equipped than us humans!
So schön.
Yes! I just HATE it & get very angry when I see ppl "breaking" horses, for 1 thing, by being cruel. That breaks their spirit while patient kindness teaches them to TRUST you & build a good relationship with you while getting better results at TRAINING them! (I ALWAYS report ppl who are abusive to animals. I think YOU should, also!)
❤❤❤
Now matter how old I shall become, I'll never ever lose my awe of Mother Nature...To witness something like this that is so raw, so innocent, & so pure must almost feel as if you're standing before God....Thank you ever so kindly for sharing such an intimate moment in time...
Thank you for appreciating and enjoying the video x
Thanks and glory be to God our Creator who gave us these beautiful creatures for our entertainments and pleasure.
That mom looking at his baby with so much love, and caring for him with such care and patience! 🐂❤👍
Merci 🎉 pour ces précieux moments ❤ Tout y est magnifique !
The mum cleaning the baby and promoting her wee one's circulation is always thrilling to watch. The cute little one is so determined and mum lets him know she is right there.
Now he is up so the next step is to find the dairy.
Mother and calf have all their natural instincts in place! It is wonderful to witness!
It might be a surprise but not every living being is male.
It is a female calf.

The breakfast bar is definitely important.
Какое трогательное видео! Родился малыш и будущие няньки идут знакомиться. Все ждут когда новорожденный встанет. Мама такая чудесная

So precious. I love the onlookers. Beautiful countryside.
Awwwwwwwhhhhh. Soooo cute!!!!! Also I giggled when the one yearling was looking at mom and baby and the realization that set in when she realized she wasn’t the “baby” anymore hehehehe. Mother Nature is truly amazing ❤️

Mother nature also likes to eat things alive from the soft parts up.
The looks on the faces of the other cattle is interesting. They are witness/protectors to cow and calf, it seems. As vocal as that cow is, calf will always know mom's voice. Congratulations Dale Farm, the herd increases.
Thank you! She’s a fabulous little calf, a heifer calf so we will keep her and breed with her in future ,

I saw these beautiful, gentle creatures close up while in Scotland! I fell in love ❤. Brought back a little stuffed toy that looks just like them!
I got myself a stuffed one for Christmas finally. I would be in heaven to see some in real life.
Aller Anfang ist schwer. Es ist immerwieder faszinierend zu sehen, wie die Kleinen es schaffen nach so kurzer Zeit auf eigenen Beinen zu stehen. Und eine tolle Mutter!❤
Hi Jo
Well what a beautiful sight seeing that newborn calf trying to get up many times bless it. Eventually standing on its own 4 legs.
Mum seemed to be very proud also. Lucky you getting to see that in you own back garden.
Have a lovely weekend
Love Kim x x
Hey Kim we were lucky to be there so quickly , and so thankful that everything was okay. The first moments are amazing aren’t they! And the cow was not too defensive with us around. Some of the others would have been more aggressive but this one is very quiet x
They all have such beautiful coats and faces, and calves belong with their doting moms. Always!
Yeah, the newborn calf finally stood up! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Bill for watching x
The mooing seems emotional, like she’s encouraging her calf to stand. High drama, and so beautiful. Little calf surely knows where to wobble to! Smart baby.
When I watch this it becomes so apparent to me how helpless we are when we are born. Mamma highland bragging about her baby. Thank you for not interfering with nature. What a beautiful baby!
Such heartfelt, jubilant moo's! She's saying "Everybody look! Isn't she perfect?!" Meanwhile, baby girl is thinking "What the actual crap. I was happy where i was... But 🥛sounds yum!"
Thank you for this, it was beautiful! Happiest holidays, everyone!
Yeah she’s into the big world now. I bet it was cosy in mums tummy!
The entire family is excited and has come to greet the newborn!
Mom is so proud and an excellent mother as well.
Thank you! I have never seen a calf just born before, mummy is so sweet and determined to have him on his feet and after much love and licking he/she is up. Beautiful. Xxxxx ❤

Great job momma ! Good looking baby you have. Proud momma right there. Great job standing up baby. You'll be running around in a couple days❤
You have yourself a good momma right there. It's always a blessing to get a new life. Most folks see the baby and overlook the amazing natural instincts of a good momma. I particularly like the momma grunts that imprint her voice on her baby. It NEVER gets old. That's not her first rodeo. No heifer shuffle there. Thanks for sharing.
