Honestly that’s what made me connect with him and his music even deeper… it was easy to relate to someone who was struggling with an addiction that I too struggled with… and honestly, unfortunately those hard drugs take complete control of our life.. changing us from the inside into terrible humans…I know there came a time when I could no longer recognize any part of myself, it broke my heart to feel such hatred for who you’ve become, and the things you’ve done, … so I can appreciate the struggle.. i love that his music reflects his current self… I can relate to the lyrics about fighting to stay sober after fucking up again ..his music has been a huge inspiration for me..
he did some shitty things, he’s human, but it made him feel more real than a lot of these other artists who aren’t as open and honest about their struggles… 😂 haha sorry for the novel… I’m obviously passionate about him.. 😊
