Damn idk if it's the recording, but it sounds like he's lost a lot of the power in his voice... He used to be one of *_The Greats_* when it came to live performance.

Honestly that’s what made me connect with him and his music even deeper… it was easy to relate to someone who was struggling with an addiction that I too struggled with… and honestly, unfortunately those hard drugs take complete control of our life.. changing us from the inside into terrible humans…I know there came a time when I could no longer recognize any part of myself, it broke my heart to feel such hatred for who you’ve become, and the things you’ve done, … so I can appreciate the struggle.. i love that his music reflects his current self… I can relate to the lyrics about fighting to stay sober after fucking up again ..his music has been a huge inspiration for me.. he did some shitty things, he’s human, but it made him feel more real than a lot of these other artists who aren’t as open and honest about their struggles… 😂 haha sorry for the novel… I’m obviously passionate about him.. 😊
