Well captured footage. Funny, looks like class 68 and class 92 had a baby and this is the result. Like I feel when class 92 came out, it was an electric version of a class 60, saying that both were built by Brush.

Really glad to see the 93 starting to be put on the mainline. As much as I like the class 66 and as good and reliable as they are; there are numerous routes that class 66's and 37's do everyday 100% under over head lines. Can't wait to see more electrics on the network!

There is plenty of other available traction which is under used than to buy, operate and maintain another version. @@andrewreynolds4949 is that relevant ? They are still flying them commercial Buffalo Airways up in the north of Canada because there is nothing else !! That does the duty bear in mind the first C 47 went into service 1936 20 + years before the Class 37 first came off the build line .
Im just saying its basic like a morris 1000 thats why the operators are still hiring them

@@andyrichards2569 If someone is still using their Ford model T for daily use (and I have seen this) it doesn't mean it's a good car anymore. The same is true for trains, and for the C47. Yes there is an operator still using it, which I have heard of, but that's because of the very niche requirements they have: extremely simple and reliable, rather than efficient or capable, for use in the Canadian wilderness where fixing things is very difficult
