JEFF SLADE and HOLLY TURNER in the mystery adventure series Crime Traveller Written and created by author Anthony Horowitz starring Michael French and Chloe Annett with Sue Johnston
Thought Michael French and the beautiful Chloe Annett did such a great job building this duo. Great chemistry between them and by the end you are left in no doubt that they would of have been an amazing duo to watch every Saturday night. A missed opportunity and one of those series you can't help but ask 'what if?' with regard to if it had continued.
Well, it's come to the end; sorry more weren't in the making. It wasn't heavy & intellectual like Morse (#1!), the plots were easy enough for most kids to follow l think & most kids love just about anything time-travel! Between that & it's lack of sex, gore + violence, l would highly recommend this 8 episodes for kids as well on a rainy or cold Sunday afternoon when they can't play outside but need some clean enjoyable fun entertainment!👍🌈🇨🇦☘️ THANKS TO THE UPLOADER!! 👍👏
Did everyone like the hopping fruit bowl? First on the side of the table with the numbers then centered when he time jumped then on the side again as he turned from the machine to get a piece of paper. Love those continuity errors. Nice show as well. Thanks for the enjoyment it has brought to so many.
Ty so much for posting this. The strange think for me was I remember seeing them film on scene from this, took two days for what was about a 7 second clip at what was Bellings Builders, Colville Rd, Acton Town.

What they don't know is what effect time travel has on the body. Space travel weakens the bones, affects bone density. This pouncing back and forth should have an affect.
I love the series the only thing not captions British English is a sometimes hard for me to understand. I did enjoyed the whole chapters it is so bad the it came to and end. :}
I started watching this series from the first episode. Right off I want to say I have enjoyed it. That said I also get very aggravated watching this because I felt it had a great deal of potential but the writing was so haphazrd and lazy it made watching much less enjoyable. From the start it left a good bit to be desired. She took a job to afford buying parts for the machine, yet with her background the best work she could get was Science Officer for a police department? Then she let's Slade in on her secret just so she could save his job for him? A better script would have been starting with her aunt's murder. They should have had her and the aunt in a closer relationship, and perhaps even had her father's death be under suspicious circumstances then mingled the two deaths with a common killer, someone trying to steal her father's work, and they thought maybe the aunt had his materials in her possession. This would be a good reason for the two, Slade and Holly to meet and work together. This would have been a much better motivation for her to be willing to share the knowledge of the machine with Slade. But even then she should never have allowed him to see how to work the machine so he coould not sneak in and use it against her wishes. The fact they are both supposed to be intelligent cops good at their jobs is undermined in every episode I have watched so far because when they do go back in time they keep going into crimes scenes before the crime and leaving evidence f their being there so they become suspects in the crime. During this episode I th9ink I heard what will be the dumbest line of dialogue written for the whole series. When Slade describes his idea to beat the paradox and win the lottery she whines, "But that's cheating!". The very fact they have a time machine is the BIGGEST cheat of all, and by using to solve all the crimes they have solved was cheating. It does not take much to go from being a good and honest person to being a total moron. She crossed that line when she said that.
I agree, the concept of the show was novel and interesting and could have been brilliant but Slade is lazy, manipulative and stupid and the writing and acting are poor. That said it is good clean fun, no gratuitous sex, violence or swearing so I gratefully watched every episode lol
If he wrote down the lottery numbers and the time trip itself caused there to be new numbers, him only winning something from the original numbers being read in upside down, doesn't that mean that the past can be changed? As for the 'rules', things would have to be tested to see what can and cannot be done.
1:13:40 Marlowe was making out with Holly between 12 AM - 2 AM. That's what Slade really wants to establish all along. Slade was simply jealous, LoL! But intuition is right, Marlowe was the attacker and the killer.
I agree amusing series. and that the plot points coukd be better, and there are some weaknesses in the 2 leads characters. Using the machine against her wishes is a big betrayal. Makes him a weak character, And next he is lying in her lap.
Just one thing how is it when they go back to the machine the other two aren't there ready to go back because they have to be back at the same time they left so they should see themself's in the flat when they are back with the watch and also when they are going back they should see themselves coming back from the past

There's a bit of a serious flaw in this concept when they never meet themselves coming and going to and from the machine.
Sometimes they see themselves at a distance while out and about, but not going to and from machine.
