I assume you're American A.D.Seagle, as you said "go raid the prop" and instead of "go AND raid the prop". It must seem strange and exciting for you to discover old british tv shows from the 1990s like this? Not only are you experiencing british culture, but old british culture and life from 25 years ago. Not to mention an awesome and underate sci-fi show in a time slot and on channel that doesn't usually show stuff like that.... except BUGS.... another saturday night favourite on UK tv back in the late 90s! See if you can find that too. More james bond style

The jury's out - not sure whether the biodimensional transmuter is more efficient than a flux capacitor.

    • @vshah1010
      @vshah1010 3 роки тому +1

You can't do an efficiency comparison of the biodimensional transmuter to the flux capacitor.
A biodimensional transmuter is of course much better than the flux capacitor. It is a self contained unit.
The flux capacitor cannot do much, other than hold a charge, but it will hold more charge than a regular capacitor.

Thankfully for me that was my hey day of watching TV in my childhood, and it was just about one the best times in history to have been a kid as I was and to have done it which birthed amazing programmes like this one in particular which I became obsessed with!

I remember watching these when they originally aired and loved them. I have the DVD. The following Saturday after the end of this series the BBC aired Jonathon Creek's first ever episode and then later Doctor Who. Crime Traveller never returned. It has a cult following and ratings wise it did well. Despite some of it's flaws I personally loved it's quirkiness and it didn't take itself too seriously. Thought Michael French and Chloe Annette did a great job. If it had a longer run I think it would have been successful and well liked.

The explanation is bogus. If one of the laws of time is that the past can't be changed that is what has happened will happen then you can't alter the future either. Such a machine wouldn't allow actual time travel. Only observation of past events. A capacity that already exists.

Darn it. Time travel has so much potential and limited only by our imagination. This is a good series and we need more of them, even better ones - when I think about it I like exploring feeling of nostalgia in the sense that the past always seem a time more free if sometimes more dangerous, I like emotional time dramas, in fact any storytelling without it fails (time after time with Malcom McDowell and other love stories like Kate and Leopld). In this arena we are only limited by our imagination, and it's a serious limit. It's amazing how hard it is to come up with new story.

Anyone else's maths as bad ss the movie ?
In part 2 she inherited 2 million poundsand the house, remember in beginning,it was 2 million pounds and co firmed the house was hers while they broke into the house, then at the end it was she left 5 figure of debts.
Mathematically thats not even 100,000, at most its 99,999.99
So paying off the debt with 2 million ( 2,000,000.00 ) she would have had almost 2 million pounds, about 100,000 shy of 2 million, and a huge house and land.
So realistically she had a huge inheritance, and told the guy a porky pie - big fat lie at the end of the movie / program.
And the real reason she left the job was because now she did not need to work any more because of the inheritance.
You could live in luxury with 2 million back then. But with inflation maybe she use time machine to earn a modest living later on.

/wow, that's some mix of interesting sci fi shows. I'm a huge fan of red dwarf, in fact, they had a new one recently, especially being all so much older, It was funny. The other two shows, never saw those, but I can guess from Eastenders, it must have been funny.

Sue Johnstone is wearing beige tights in the first scene as she steps out of the car. Three minutes later in the scene she is suddenly wearing much darker tights when she is running through the station. She must have gotten a ladder and had to change somewhere during the scene lol.

My first time watching this. I like time travel films. Don't know any of the actors and it appears English. It does look somewhat interesting, but I like to focus on a main character; so far its Slade and I'm not wild about any of these characters. Hope I can endure this series. Title 1 was "cute". (had its moments)(ls)
