This was amazing! Please could you do more of these? Maybe sitting lower to see the top of your hair and back more. You are the best. Keep up the good work.
you're so adorable!! found you through your 1950s housewife week video. btw congratulations on almost a million views on that video!! xoxo love from Maryland, US
Amazing video! Mad Men is one of my favourite series, so this gives me courage to attempt some of the hairstyles. Plus, you have a new subscriber from Portugal :)) Hope you have a lovely day.
Nifty little num num of info...if you turn your bobby pins around where the ridge is against your scalp it will hold better. Actually just learned myself not long ago that is actually the way they are supposed to be used. 😊
This is awesome! I love it. You have put so much work into this video and all of your videos. I am so happy your channel is growing. You deserve all of the success. I love vintage TV-- and period pieces like MadMen. Your the best. Love from Chicago USA.
OK, if this is your first video I can forgive you, because the whole time I was like, "SHOW ME THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD!" So sorry, you're just starting out, I've watched a few of your other videos and you're great, I was just super frustrated watching this! You're gorgeous and I hope you keep growing!
@@SageLilleyman you’re totally fine!! Thanks for even responding! No harm meant I’m glad I saw your video details before being a raging b*tch! 😬 Keep up the inspiring content!! I’m trying to go vintage myself but right now I need to cut my hair... mines too long to do any kind of set... do you do that yourself?
I was in high school in the 60's and almost everyone wore their hair in a flip - everyone! That girl style. When my set didn't turn out well - I'd just pull it back into a ponytail. Once I had girlfriends who drove to school , we'd wear our curlers under a babushka to school, and comb it out in the bathroom. It would stay all day if it wasn't exposed to the weather, whereas - when we had to fix it at home before we left, even wearing a scarf, it would fall and look stringy all day.
Huh. We didn't use rats to create the high poof in our area. We used backcombing and lots of hairspray. To this day, "Texas big hair" is a thing, and probably the only reason several hair spray makers are still in business.... We also used "wiglets," especially when one's hair needed a wash. She'd pull up her hair into a bun on top, slap the wiglet on top of that and voila, instant hairdo. I say "we," but actually, I was purely a long-hair, naturally wavy kinda gal. Only did curls for my senior photo. Thanks for the memories, though. This was fun.
Is that your natural color my dear? It's lovley, I like it even better than the auburn! With your fair skin you remind me of beautiful actress Gail Russell!
Two questions please, what are the lipsticks you are wearing, they are beautiful. The second question is do you have a hair tutorial for cutting your hair? Oh, one more question, is there a tutorial for making a hair rat?
Tenho trauma dessa época....minha mãe ficava horas no espelho tentando fazer um penteado a la estrelas de Hollywood e quando não conseguia, surtava,eu corria pra me esconder .... ridículo
I use a hair donut type thing for buns that I cut apart into the right size pieces for me. It you can do it like our grandmas and use the hair from your brush in an invisible hair net.

I am a woman with a half-shaved head and could never do these hairstyles, but I’m watching cause I love Mad Men. 😂
Thank you gorgeous!

For the Peggy Olson one you look so much like the sally fields Gidget! So cute!!

My arms hurt watching this video!!!
Did u have videos before this one?
I’m gonna say this is inspired by the early seasons of madmen. Seasons 1-3
What kind of hairbrush are you using here?
Two questions please, what are the lipsticks you are wearing, they are beautiful. The second question is do you have a hair tutorial for cutting your hair?
Oh, one more question, is there a tutorial for making a hair rat?
I wish I had your hair I can't hardly do anything with mine lol
You look like Lily James and Amy Adams. 😮
Awww - you didn't do Miss Ida Blankenship 😿.
sei una ragazza bellissima :)
I love your videos so much but one critique... The final reveal shot never captures the entire hair style or outfit!
Amazing! Thank you. Just please take care not to chop off the top of your head out of the frame in the final reveal. Cant see the full hair style 😢
Tenho trauma dessa época....minha mãe ficava horas no espelho tentando fazer um penteado a la estrelas de Hollywood e quando não conseguia, surtava,eu corria pra me esconder .... ridículo
Eu nem penteio meu cabelo.....kkkk
You should step away from the camera a bit. We cannot see the top of your hairstyle most of the time....
Where can you buy a hair rat?

@@winterjones5497 thank you for the ideas!
