I recently gave my best friend a vintage Brother Brother-Lite automatic lighter from Japan in the 50s and watching his face as he examined the lighter, struck it, and then stared into the flame was absolutely beautiful. It was the image of an obsession forming before my very eyes.
👍🏼👍🏼very good gift! O man. I might need one of those flip lights. :) I made a bit kit out of zippo case but had to dump everything to get something out of it. Then other day saw a zippo screw driver kit thing.
Haha that’s cool. Yeah the new but insert is interesting. I need a lighter though but cool novelty item for sure.Good item for non smokers or expert level tinkering lol
I love those old metal tins Zippo used to put their lighters in. They're so much better than the stupid cardboard boxes they put them in now.. I'd totally be willing to pay a few extra dollars to get my lighters put in one when i buy them.

Hey zippo love the la lune lighter, and the case. I had a brainfart while watching this, I heard of Zippos that had the wrong patent number in them, I have been trying to get hold of one. I just bought a 1958 anchor serum gold filled zippo, and I have been wanting to get a sterling silver or gold plated too but this wrong patent number zippo has my interest too, have you heard of them before? Please let me know what you think or am I being mislead. I know I've convinced myself I've heard of Zippos with the wrong patent but have I? 🤔😅 help me please.
Yeah I’ve herd of them. Only happened for a short time during the war I believe. Not worth it and not very interesting in my opinion. Just get a silver or gold plate youll enjoy it more than some old rusty pile with the one wrong number. It’s not the whole patent number that is wrong. Hey I have a non-slim Zippo with the the logo being from 55-79 and im having trouble dating it. It is stamped with Sterling, flat bottom no date codes. Can you give me any insight please? Thanks
