Finally back with another music reaction to The Warning! This is their live performance of the song "Survive" at Lunario CDMX. This came highly recommended and I really enjoyed having the chance to hear it/check out their performance! What did you guys think? And out of Survive, Choke, and The End, do you have a favorite?

Best band around today 💯💫 THE WARNING LIVE AT TEATRO METROPOLITAN CDMX.. pick any song, it's a pro shot concert. Very good sound.. Animosity, 23,Dust to Dust, Revenant, Evolve... TWA🤟🎶☮️
This was an encore for the concert; at the time the longest they had played at 1 hr. 30 minutes. Ale, the bassist, was exhausted by then. They debuted their album Queen of the Murder Scene in this concert. And also note that CDMX (Mexico City) is at something like 7000+ feet above sea level which may have affected their vocals.
Yes Poor Ale was absolutely exhausted by this time and the thin air just made things worse, but like a true pro she carried on regardless. It was still an excellent performance though.
This song is from their first album, XXI Century Blood. The Lunario show was their initial full presentation of their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene. They played 4 "older" songs too, this is one of them. Almost 2 years before this concert, they played a 3-song set at a TEDx talk at the University of Nevada. The whole TEDx performance is mind blowing. Ale had just turned 12, Pau and Dani were almost 15 and 17. They spoke between songs, and they completely brought the house down. The audio and video of this song at TEDx is much better than this. And they hadn't just played for a hour and a half at an altitude of a mile and a half!

1000%. Definitely missing out on how much they have evolved since this performance. This was okay but doesn't do them full justice.
@@TikiBirdTracy I actually love the more basic rawness of this one in this performance. This one was not as well recorded as CDMX though. The lyric gets a bit lost.
Queen of the murder scene is a masterpiece. You should watch all of the songs in order and read the lyrics before each. This concert at Lunario is the best version to watch all of them. Keep in mind, not all the songs at this concert are from QOTMS like this one. You need to look up the songs and the order.
It is a testament, not only to their musicianship, but to their ability as performers, that this song is being performed as an encore to a show in which they performed the Queen of the Murder Scene album in its entirety, with songs from their previous album interspersed to separate the chapters of QOTMS, and that they were performing in Mexico City (CDMX), which, if I'm not mistaken is about a mile and a half above sea level.

Their skills are amazingly more advanced, nowadays. This was an exciting, top notch performance. Their growth in skill and technique is insane. I recommend all of their songs from their Teatro Metropolitan concert and (of course) their performances of “More” and “Evolve”, from their appearance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. OMG…. Literally

The Warning are at their best when they are live. So much stage presence and charisma. I would recommend any song from their Teatro Metropolitan concert at CDMX as the sound quality and video quality are top notch. Also, every song from that concert is so good. Just pick one and go. I would recommend the songs Z, Disciple, and Evolve for more rocking songs. To see Pau up front do Narcisista. For a more quiet song try 23. All these songs are from this concert at Teatro Metropilitan.
There is quite a contrast between the four songs you have reacted to. "CHOKE" was the lead single from their most recent album, "ERROR", released last year. The live video you watched was from their August 2022 concert which has the best production quality of any of their live videos, in my opinion. "The End" is the closing song of their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", where the protagonist reflects on the events of the story within this concept album. "Survive" is from their first album, "XXI Century Blood", recorded in 2016, when they were 16, 14, and 11 years old. The live video was from the same concert as "The End". You also reacted to the official music video of their newest song, "MORE".
My favorite of these songs is probably "CHOKE", followed by "MORE", "The End", and then "Survive". I do like all of the songs. I believe you saw the best live recordings of "CHOKE" and "The End", but the best live version of "Survive", in my opinion, is from their 2017 TEDx performance, followed closely by their 2022 Teatro Metropolitan version. The contrast of the almost 5 years between these performances is very evident. The best live version of "MORE", is the MTV VMAs performance from last month. I encourage you to seek out and listen to these alternate live versions of "Survive" and "MORE". For a future reaction, consider "DISCIPLE" from the Teatro Metropolitan show or "EVOLVE" from the MTV VMAs.
Great reaction Molly. Many fans struggle with choosing their favorite song by The Warning. Most of their songs grab you in different ways on a first listen. My all time fave is Martirio. You should check out the music vid first and then the live version at Teatro Metropolitan. The band’s passion really shines on this track and the build up at the end always leaves me teary eyed. Survive is from their first album and a long-time fan favorite. They are better live than on the studio recordings, largely because of their charisma and the energy they bring. Recommend any of the pro-recorded live performance videos from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX on their channel, or the 2 songs they performed at the MTV VMAs recently (More and Evolve). 😎👍

Thank you for reacting to my favorite band, flying to México city next Friday to see them live at one of their largest headlining concert to date❤🤘 Mexio city altitude is over 7000 ft. It affected the breathing, they still did an amz8ng job but it was though on them. This is the epilog song of Queen of the Murder scene album, a concept album best listened in order, this was a story of love, enfatuation and MURDER❤
Dude, this song has nothing to do with the QOTMS album and is *NOT* an epilog of it. It's a song from the album *XXI Century Blood* that they ended this show with.

Great seeing you back reacting to my favorite band. Like others have mentioned, they have released pro shot live videos for all the songs performed at their Teatro Metropolitan show last year, so I would suggest to look for that on their UA-cam channel and react to those before any of the other shows, the only exception being for their songs More & Evolve for which their performances at the MTV VMAs are best.

Nice Reaction! The Warning are a great live band. This concert (Lunario) and the Teatro concert were both recorded by someone hired by them and they both are good to react to. If you want a little change of pace, try Crimson Queen from this same concert. It's an Acoustic Song that Dani sings and she really changes her voice like you noticed on this song to fit the song.
When I saw them in August, the crowd sang most of the intro lyrics. Also, while this is a damn good performance, they’ve grown and matured since, so this video is kind of a time capsule.
I think TW has several more songs although you seem to focus too much on just these three that you mention.
Last year they performed their most appreciated and recognized performance that fortunately was recorded in the best professional quality and that you can find as "Live at Teatro Metropólitan CDMX" from which I suggest songs like: "Queen of the Murder Scene", " Disciple", "Animosity", "Money", "Z", "Narcisista", are several more from that concert but I suggest these because of the energy displayed by the 3 sisters.
I also suggest "Evolve" in their performance at the recent MTV VMAs because it was truly EPIC!!
For now I'm subscribing to your channel because I hope to see many reactions from you to my favorite band of all time.

If lyrics are your thing then The Warning will be your thing as you dig deeper. At some point you will have to do the whole of Queen of the Murder Scene in order, either one or two songs at a time or as a livestream. No copyright issues to worry about whether studio or live versions, as they were independent at the time. A few reactors have done both. Studio to get into the lyrics, followed by live. If you do live only, it’s worth bringing up the lyrics beforehand.

You're not the only being drawin in by Survice - many TW fans were when it came up at their TedEx show in 2017. Pau (then 15) beat the shit out the drums and her vocals were incredible, Dany (then 17) made the guitar riffs memorable and little Ale (then 12) kicked ass with her bass, keyboard intro (as in this video) and backing vocals.

Lunario is at high altitude in Mexico City. The girls were gasping for air during the Queen of the Murder Scene live premiere 2018.
They now physical train/condition for stamina and strength
It’s very apparent in their more recent performances
Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022: “Disciple” and “Evolve” have excellent high energy vocals and instrumentals.
MTV VMAs 2023: “More” and “Evolve” are also high energy excellent
If you want to view high energy passionate audiences; their recent October 2023 concerts in Columbia, Chile and Argentina are ! fantastic ! .

the first time i heard *Survive* was watching their 2017 TEDx video... they played 3 songs there and spoke to the audience between each song... *Survive* was their closer and that jam session at the end was a wildfire to watch... you should watch it, the TEDx session, if you haven't seen it yet... what they talk about between the songs is enlightening and very informative...
*Survive* is also off their album "XXI Century Blood" which was also released in 2017... the album's title song has a OMV that really tells a story... it, too, is a must see... it was nominated for a few awards and won several of them 😹

queen of the murder scene was the name of their concept album it tells a story about a girl who loves a man and after time her love for him turns to obsession and stalkery and as you listen to the album you can feel it you should find the list of songs on the album and then react to them in order and you will feel that emotion it is still my favorite album they have made and make sure you do all the songs at the lunario CDMX it has the best quality and sound please let me know what you think
Not sure why people still suggest this older version. Theres a more recent live performance this past year. They sound even better there

I have to agree about the vocals being too low in the mix. At the time of this concert they were still an independent band with a limited budget doing their first official full concert recording (not counting the show from their school of a couple years previous). Still pretty darn good considering. Teatro Metropolitan is the gold standard of any concert footage. The Foro Didi show has a bit better quality than Lunario followed by Dakota bar and Whisky A Go Go. Favorite songs are all live versions - More and Evolve from the MTV VMAs, P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C from Whisky A Go Go, Dull Knives, Enter Sandman and Disciple from Teatro Metroplitan, Crimson Queen from Lunario and Sinister Smiles acoustic live in studio version.

Sound production is not as amazing as the Teatro Metropolitan shows but still a great performance.
