Making a Potless Small Wheel Engine (LongjumpingFrame1771 Method) - Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

  • This goes through the process of creating a small wheel engine with just a small wheel and wagon wheel - no pot needed! Then it shows how you can attach a propeller in a way in which it will spin. The engine is made with "stake nudging". You're supposed to "stake nudge" the propeller as well but I went the quicker route with that an "item culled" it. Though you can "item cull" on newer patches, you need to be on version 1.1.1 or below in order to do it the way I did.
You can use this light engine to make multiple different builds, I showed it here with a balloon build. It was an Epic Fail example because I put the wagon wheel on the wrong side of the small wheel for this build - though it's the correct side for some other builds.

At 0:13 I chose the correct side for the demonstrated build actually. The problem was I moved the wagon wheel to the OTHER side at 2:47.

This is actually the 1st legit video I’ve seen with stake nudging being performed - now I get it lol

Electric uses a lot more power and attracts lightning but yeah you can do that. My early balloon videos are electric. The other issue is the significant weight of the motor (4/5ths of a hover stone).

I showed an easier one months ago but the wheel is put at a 45 degree angle.
