    Nothing like the sound of a Ducati and the weight savings it brings. Tech is just a bonus.

      The engines are quite amazing, in this video I didn’t want to hit the throttle hard but that’s probably what viewers want to see. Thank you for watching be safe more to come 🙂

    My main bike has been a HD Ultra CVO for the last 12 years. Love the bike but I too decided I wanted something a bit more versatile. I spent a few months going back and forth between a BMW, Ducati, Africa Twin, and Tiger. Came close with all of the bikes but ultimately I realized I missed the power of my old ZX11 but wanted something with an upright seating position, power, wind protection, and the ability to go out and explore forest roads. Your video sounds like my exact same though process so about a week ago I went in and bought the 2024 MSV4 Rally . I'll keep the HD for cruising but I think this next summer will probably be mostly spent on the Ducati. I look forward to getting to know the bike.

      Eric, I could go on and on how my Ducati exceeded my expectations. I believe the quality of this motorcycle is as good as any motorcycle including the Japanese brands. My dealer service department has been excellent. The ride and performance on this motorcycle is unsurpassed that kind of makes me nervous because every time I get on this motorcycle, I’m driving it faster and faster. I truly hope you enjoy your motorcycle. It is a great machine as is your Harley Davidson. You probably have the best of both world please ride safe and in peace thank you for supporting my channel. God bless.

      @@maraudermitchelliThank you for the nice response! Yes I’m truly excited and at 59 it feels good to be looking forward to spring even if it’s months away!!! I’m going to be day dreaming all winter about my summertime rides!!!
      Great channel you have here and I really like the way you’ve described this bike and how you ride it. This is more like the way I’ll be riding mine. I’m a pretty tame rider as my speed days were fun but not nearly as necessary anymore. Although now and then it’s fun to test out the HP! Anyway God bless you too and stay safe out there!

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  10 місяців тому

      It's well worth the wait. All manufacturers have their issues as does Ducati but Ducati is so innovative and consistently launching new designs in categories new to the company. They are so technologically and ultra performance oriented. Please let me know when you get you bike I'm sure you'll love it. Ride safe and thank you

      James I had to put 60 miles on the Duke to get her first oil change so I jumped on the thruway. The wind was horribly inconsistent with a crosswind which I did not enjoy. I pulled off at a rest stop my hands were cramping, and I parked to make a phone call and a Vespa pulled in the stop as calm as could be. I felt like such a wimp...gosh. Those machines must be impressive I believe generally scooter owners love their machines. I would like to ride one we'll see. Thanks for watching the video and commenting be safe.

    Congratulations on the absolutely beautiful bike, its very capable and just a hell of a bike, it does need an exhaust though, the engines are so suffocated these days with the large cat. Ill suffer with my 2017 multistrada enduro 1200 for a few more years though, i can't justify the price of this brand new.

    I've been looking at the V4 Multistrada as more of a sport touring bike. I have an Aprilia Tuareg that I really enjoy for adventure riding and it is great offroad but it really isn't comfortable for long highway rides. I want something that I can ride the Ozark mountain roads and can take on gravel roads but nothing more that maybe a Jeep trail. I would keep the Tuareg for more serious adventure rides, but want something I can ride for a week on a multistate tour.

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  11 місяців тому

      Bill I just posted a video how my multistrada Rally is better than the multistrada grand tour I’d suggest you watch it. It’s a fantastic sport touring bike and with the 8 gallon tank it has awesome range. Please let me know if your watch that video. Btw I average 42-48 mph on a ride using adaptive cruise and cruising in higher gears. Tuareg is a great bike. Ride safe thank you 😊

      @@maraudermitchelli I’ve been doing my research. Looking for something more road oriented but I like the adventure type bike with the upright seating position and higher seats. I’m a 60+ rider returning to riding after retirement. Also, looked at the BMWs including the R1250RT sport touring model. Ride with a bunch of GS riders. Like the Ducati and live near my Aprilia/Ducati dealer!!! Has looked at some of Big Rocks videos on the Grand Tour.

    Can you comment on the GPS set up you have please? Thanks for the review.

    • @maraudermitchelli
      @maraudermitchelli  Рік тому +2

      Tim I purchased the GPS with the bike as an accessory. The mount is expensive it maybe hundreds of dollars the unit although it says Ducati on the side is Garmin. I could find no videos or pictures to show how this is mounted...dealer originally told me it is mounted on the bars...ugh. It is mounted on the windshield brackets and is just amazing. The highest marks for this unit. Although I can program destination i need to learn how to map my own routes. I hope this helps be safe.

      @maraudermitchelli  Рік тому

      No I haven't search. I'm sure there's several companies that make pegs...not sure about the levers. A desertx peg maybe the same as this bike...I'd ask the dealer. Please let me know what you find. Ride safe

      The stock one has two threaded holes in it, and comes to us in the lower position. Having said that, it still didn’t go high enough for my adventure boots, so I purchased an adjustable one from Ducabike. It’s perfect
