This is the album and concert opener. Meant to be a call to arms for the One.
Welcome back and great reaction. 'Metal Kingdom' is the opening track on the album (title 'The Other One' being released 24th March - have you pre-ordered your copy?) - so it is an introduction (this will be a concept album) and of course they used it for the epic theatrical opening number at their concerts at the end of January where this was filmed - their first live shows in nearly 2 years. Those were at the Makurahi Messe, 2 nights sold out in minutes, about 15k people each night.
You were absolutely right about no expense spared - the capacity in that layout would normally be something like 20-25k, but they sacrificed a whole lot of space (and the ticket money) to have stages at the east (where the Kami Band were) and west (where the huge Fox God doors and thrones were) with the walkway running right through the middle of the arena joining the two main stages.
On the walkway they had two moving stages (we only saw on in this video) that went east to west and back and also rose up and down. The girls spent most of the time on the moving stages so they could get as close to and see as many of the fans as they could.
This was the live performance but with the studio audio - the video was released less than a week after the concerts they filmed it at, so it is understandable why it has the studio audio.
We will have to wait for the DVD for the live audio.
None of the videos for the new singles have been blocked for anybody so far, so you should be safe for reactions to all of the ones released to now:

This video is from Makuhari shows on Jan.28 /29. I witnessed both shows at the venue. You saw one octagonal movable / elevatable stage but actually there were two identical stages for more surprising production. Several drones with camera were flying around all over the venue.
Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after some 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. ♪ Oh oh oh o o o ♪. What a happy experience!! The Kami band was playing on the east stage that was not captured in this video.
After this grave opening, 3 girls performed 12 songs with Momoko Avenger. Did you see 3 (not 2) thrones at 03:37 in your video? Yeah, BM will change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌ ps. I luckily managed to get tickets to the shows in April. 😍
Nice reaction. This is the majestic return of Babymetal to their Metal Kingdom. The stage in front of a live audience. Babymetal has been announcing tour dates. Many fans want them at Download. it's almost tradition for them to perform there at this point. Everyone is making request for Babymetal to do a show in their country or at least nearby to they can see them. They've released a couple of songs from the new album due out soon. Metal kingdom is the first song on the album and was the first song they performed on their return to the stage. The first song they released from the new album however was Divine Attack. Which Su-metal has some lyric writing credits for. Yeah Su. Next up we have Monochrome. This song has made a big impact on fans. For folks new to Babymetal it's starting to grow on them too. They did a stunner of a lyric video for it. And then last week the performed the song on the program First Take. A piano version with Su and Moa. That is melting hearts and ears. They delivered in ways new listeners to Babymetal find hard to believe they're that good. But the fans know. They even better than you think. When you watch that you'll see why. Enjoy the ride through the foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of music.

Babymetal have done 2 stadium shows of their own in 2016, but this performance is strictly speaking still an arena show. It's some 20 000 people.
Why does Babymetal have this stage ? So they can be close to as many members of the audience. The connection with the audience that Babymetal has is strong. It's part of what gives them joy.
Great to see you finally coming back to Babymetal. I missed you lads! As you saw, Babymetal doesn’t care about the money, they want to give their fans the best experience possible and are willing to sacrifice 1000 ticket sales, just for that.
As Grington and Jake already explained in detail and gave you all the info about the upcoming album (mine was shipped today, YAY!!!) the only thing I want to add is their European tour as special guest for the Sabaton tour “The tour to end all tours” in April and May. Several stops planned for the UK (I know Leeds for sure, not so sure about the other locations), so you may want to check if there are still tickets available :) I am going to see them in May in Germany and can’t fking wait! ❤🤘🔥🦊
Hello you two - you've just come up on my feed with this - not sure you'll remember me (had to change my username) but I'm one of the pillocks who kept on recommending Babymetal and Nightwish (among others) - I'm lucky enough to have seen them live here in London just before Covid in February 2020 - and I'm super excited to be seeing them in a couple of weeks as special guests of Sabaton at Wembley Arena. Not sure where you are but I'm guessing the nearest gig to you will be Leeds which I believe is on the 14th of April. The other venues are Cardiff and Glasgow. Great to see you both again - have missed your reactions! Take good care of yourselves 😃 😊

Babymetal is opening for Sabaton on their EU tour, so on the short term: Babymetal Oh Majinai with Joakim Brodén live is more likely.

This album is brilliant and much better then I expected it to be. Mirror Mirror, Maya, Metalizm, Monochrome Paino Version I wish was a bonus track as so good!! I also recommend their recent intervew with Billboard.
It hits home & gives some insight into their mindset of these past couple of years. To think Su-Metal thought about leaving then came back here!! I respect them even more now after seeing this interview. Great reaction here BTW!! 🤘🦊💕

The concerts on April 1st and 2nd in Japan are what Su and Moa have said is going to be the beginning of the new era of Babymetal. It's then when they will reveal who the 3rd permanent member will be, it's going to be fascinating to see what they have planned for those shows and the future of Babymetal

This album was specifically made to again do something else. I don't think what you are missing is just Yui, it's just that you liked what they were doing when Yuimetal was still part of Babymetal.
@@autohmae its not about Yui but the Gimme Chocolate Area or Akatsuki, Megitsune, Baby Metal Death i miss that Style. On the last Album also had some Bangers but they are losing Power i have the Feeling
@@audiophobia82 In Japan the new album is released and I'm hearing very good things from fans. The heavier songs are on the other parts of the album for example. I doubt their will be much kawaii stuff. But it has some encouraging Moametal stuff.

This is the second react of yours I have watched and both times your mics are too loud and drowns the artist you are reacting too. We want to hear you, but we also want to hear the artist without having to reach for the volume between you speaking and them playing. Please consider mixing and normalising your audio.
Huge Babymetal fan but seems they have lost the metal edge that has made them great. Still love them but this isn’t metal anymore
