    That's great but what cause the fridge to lock out

    • @Shank.exploration
      @Shank.exploration  4 місяці тому +2

      Lots of things can create a lock out. One of the main reasons is coolant not flowing in fridge. Wich can be cause by coolant being to cold, trailer being off level.

    Great video, thanks! When you put it in Auto mode and hold the jumper in place to reset, is it ok to be plugged in to ac? Or is it better to just use battery power and get it started on gas? thanks

    I have a Norcold N811L. It only has a single row on that plug. Do you know what the diagram calls it so i can find the correct pin on my fridge? The second pin has a wire connected to it on mine.

    Will this work if I have that green light flashing one every 3 seconds as a temp sensor fault?

    I have a GB 98' my lights were flashing and I started fooling around and I shorted out somewhere. It was flashing but still getting cold all the way to freezing. Then I must have tripped the wrong wire and the inside light went out + no more flashing green. I ordered a new board in which nothing happened. Am I missing a fuse somewhere under drivers side?

    • @Shank.exploration
      @Shank.exploration  Місяць тому

      Sorry for such late response. I unfortunately do not know of any other fuses besides one on main breaker panel or in back of fridge.

  • @oldmanronerickson2221

      I’m sorry you feel this way.
      At 1:55 in video it shows pin 2 and explains how it’s top row and second over from the left.
      Unfortunately without factory wiring diagrams there is no other way to show this.

    • @Shank.exploration

    What causes lockout mode?

    • @Shank.exploration
      @Shank.exploration  Рік тому +1

      Lock out mode can be caused by a few different things. The main cause is the sensor doesn’t sense the flow of coolant in the system. Can be anything from to cold outside trailer being off level. Fridge being on during transit.

      @@Shank.explorationhey boss I drove my 2007 Chevy four winds with the fridge on and I’ve had the 5 blinking on light issue. I was able to jump it and get it to work but when I come back it’s blinking again. The freezer seemed to get cold overnight but the fridge doesn’t. I’ve leveled it, cleaned the vents, and made sure my propane/ electrical hookup was good . Should I pull the 12v plug in the motherboard to reset it?

      @Shank.exploration  Рік тому

      Norcold Fault Codes LI OP, O, or 6 flashes (potential fire hazard!) Is your refrigerator doing one of the following? These codes appear when either your high temperature limit switch has been tripped or there has been a break in the connection at LIMIT IN and LIMIT OUT on the rear power board.

    After making the jumper wire did you reinstall ac plug before inserting jumper in 2nd top pin and attach to green ground? And what about coach battery? Was it reconnected before using jumper?

    • @Shank.exploration

      Yea after getting cover back and out of the way you need to rebook up your 120 plug and 12v power. Witch ever you are running off.
      The motherboard needs power then jump pin 2 to ground to reset
