I used to love doing laundry as a teen because my dad had a wallet but never put his money in it, it was in his pocket🤣. It was nothing to find $100 bill. Did I say anything?? Nope!! Dad never noticed so why would I say anything 🤣🤣. Mom would put it up and if he asked for lost money only then would she say “oh yea, I found it”🤣🤣

I have a mason jar labeled “mom’s tip jar” and put loose change that I find in there. Sometimes my sweet husband will put whatever loose cash is in his pocket, in there lol. I used to use it for the occasional latte splurge since I always drink coffee at home, but now I put it in a sinking fund.

Prioritizing effective personal finance management holds greater significance than the sheer amount saved, irrespective of income source. Consulting a certified financial advisor can offer tailored strategies to optimize financial results by reducing expenses and enhancing income, regardless of whether it's earned through employment or investments.

It doesn't make a significant difference until a few years before retirement. Sometimes the market rises, increasing the value of what you own, and sometimes it falls, allowing your new contributions to buy more. As long as the long-term trend is upward, you'll be fine. Trying to time market cycles is futile.

Retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs often failed to save enough money during their working years. Retirement choices significantly impact outcomes. Although my parents both spent the same number of years in the civil service, my mom invested through a wealth manager, while my dad relied on a 401k

I was so happy to see you and miss your UA-cam videos. Your clarity is so welcomed. I started stuffing envelopes since I saw your first video Oct 2020. For this year I have already stuffed my Christmas envelope and has put it in a high yield savings account. Thank you for opening my eyes to this type of savings, actual cash gives me power over my funds. ❤️

I have been doing month end balancing for several years now. However, my schedule is such that I don’t have time to balance on the last day of month. Is it acceptable to balance (zero out) on the last SUNDAY of each month (although it will be different date each month) instead of last day of month? Will this make difference? FYI my income is last Thursday of every month. Or do I need to wait until first Sunday of next month to balance & zero out?

Is that your preference??🤷‍♀ On a personal note I can't have $50 bills (they're bad luck) 🥺& ALL of my money has to face the same way. 😜 I know some people don't care about their cash facing the same way 🤣, but I'm glad to see your video pop up in my notifications!! 😁

Do you always use cash? And why use cash instead of Debit? I’m trying to figure out if I should keep using cash or use debit instead for convenience purposes. What would you recommend. I already use debit for auto draft bills and everything else is cash

I don’t know what she would recommend, but what I do is I budget the cash but keep it in my bank account (things like fuel, groceries since I do delivery) and bills. I pull cash out for savings or things we don’t often spend like furniture and car maintenance
