Will be getting one in 2 more years nerve damage in left hand is making it harder and harder to ride, but looks like and what everyone is saying just like a Snowmobile or 4-wheeler you lean in to the turns, and FTW still applies just now it's Forever Three Wheels😁
Good information. Maybe you should open up a school for beginners. Would like to see a video of what beginners should get for helmets jackets gloves . Keep em coming. Thanks for the knowledge
Nice video sir! Good tips, starting with getting acclimated via reading that manual thoroughly. Your instructions are great for new riders, good to hear and see the experience. I would add on the turns - while getting used to handling the bike to try a push-pull to make your turns easier. Because of the design of the 3-wheeler, it's not a 2-wheel motorcycle that is relying on the lean as much. So the the pull is the direction; the push is opposite direction. In other words - for a left turn, pull with the left hand while pushing with the right. Makes for easy control. Must say your Ryker looks really nice, good design and color scheme. And you look like you really enjoy riding it, which is so cool! 👍
Great advise on the push and pull, that's what i love about this sport we can all learn something from each other. Hope others read you comment and can add to their learning experience. Ride safe.
@@VinCode17 thanks, appreciate that. Just watching your video they will get great knowledge. Also seeing you maneuver emphasizes how much fun they are - that's what lures folks in! Keep posting sir, always good to share good content.
Shaft drive is tricky if you're used to chain. I'm hearing from owners about how much it wears out their arms after 1 hour of local riding and having sensor issues with less than a year of use.
I have not test drive a Can-Am Ryker yet because nearest Can-Am dealer about 176 miles away from me! I been riding a Piaggio mp3 250IE never since 2019! 💯
I test ride it 2 riker and spider RT last week love the spider RT . Only worried avoiding road debris and not been able to filter to be traffic . Is like being in a open car .but fun . You have keep the lane like a car . don't go on death waggle zig zag or high speed turn you be sorry . But the fact that it don't drop in stop light is good . They want a lot of money for the spider RT the one I like .
I haven't ridden one of those yet. I just started riding a Harley trike. Would like to see a comparison video one day or me getting a chance to ride a Ryker.
The concept is the same, but the ride feels completely different on a ryker. Check your local dealers for Can-Am demo rides sign up a test drive the ryker & spyder. Ride Safe bro 💪.

Looks like it would be difficult to steer for a person with two shoulder replacements, maybe a Spyder with power steering is more my style, what do you think?
The Spyder is going to be the better choice. Check online for demo rides near you. Sign up for several rides and see how your shoulders hold up. There's always the slingshot, Vanderhall options.
The hand guards come with the ryker rally, you can usually find a set online try showchrome, rykerrydes, slingmods they come in black i added tuff skin to it which you can also get online slingmods or rykerwraps. Hope that helps.
Great to know I'm still just using the end links and might some day do the sway to see if I feel a difference but I'm very comfortable on the ryker now so it be just a waste of money But again maybe one day.
So if you really wanna know how to drive a Ryker or a spider, bring yourself up north in the winter and hop on a snowmobile or any quad with a CVT transmission you’ll learn everything you need and the Ryker or spider will be completely natural
Can anyone tell me if these feel similar to a four wheeler? I grew up racing and rock climbing on four wheelers and I'm very confident on them but my limited time on a two wheel motorcycle was not for me. I'm looking into getting a ryker 600.
Hey buddy! I nedd your advise since i am new to the Ryker just got it, Should i get the Forward / Reverse Jockey Shifter for the Can-Am Ryker? Have you ever thought in getting it? LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!
I have thought of it but just couldn't get myself to pay what it cost, i saw other things i really wanted instead of spending the money on it. Great Information! 💯 Some things I’ve certainly learned riding a year now, but would have loved to have known before! Where can you buy those seat extension so another person can ride at the back? 1:37
That's an OEM rear seat you can order online on Can-am or your local canam dealer should have in stock.

Im glad it did something for you but i didn't feel a difference on mine. I wish i would've just rode it longer before i did.

To avoid any drama with the videos for speeding. 💪
Changing the end links does very little however when you change the sway bar and the end links it’s night and day on the interstate at 70.

What can cause a crack in the motor? Can a small hit cause it to brake! Less than 10 miles per hr
I'm sure if it hits in the right spot, even at low speed, you can cause some damage.
