    It’s normal tbh. When I ride cabs they sometimes tend to go 100 on the expressway. (At night.)

    Wow, what an "enormous crime" to drive fast on a motorway! No pedestrians, no crossroads, not cyclists ... Singaporean cops would better focus on really dangerous behaviors (like sudden lane changes without signals, etc.)

      Driving too fast can cause the driver to lose control right?

      Problem is Singapore drivers is too selfish..No where near German attitude where cars can also give way to buses when they’re speeding

  • @johnnybenson2169

    Dear Singaporeans
    If you agree that speeding is a risk to road users,
    then ask yourselves why are cars not required to be speed limited at ECU controller level when this is already achievable many years ago? Ask yourselves Why are ebikes speed AND motor power limited but not motorcycles and cars which are the more Dangerous vehicles?
    No car owner likes this idea but then what is the law? 90km/h max at expressways.
    If we are sincere about this law and the concept of safety, then why is this not implemented? If implemented, traffic enforcement on speeding is made mostly redundant saving tax monies.
    Cars entering malaysia are always the minority.

      +Johnny Benson Because it's dangerous, because some times a sudden burst of speed is needed to avoid accident.

    • @johnnybenson2169

      galaxymode
      Are you speaking based on scientific facts or are you desperately finding any excuse you can grab?
      If what you claim is not a lie, why speed limit of ebikes? Would sudden burst of speed not help ebikers escape potential death?
      First, in another video i commented, you said speed limit not set at ECU level because a minority of cars sometimes go to malaysia. Now, you say sudden burst of speed can help to avoid accident.
      If every car is limited to say 99km/h, they still can enjoy sudden bursts of speeds. So, your excuse is lacking substance.
      Please give a more credible and convincing answer.

    • @galaxymode
      @galaxymode 8 років тому

      Johnny Benson I said both, sudden burst of speed really avoid accidents some times, there was once a car was turning right,due to bad judgement, he turned then, he saw another car coming a him from he left side, he floored it so that he can avoid being T-boned. Next yes, some cars go Malaysia, not really a small number, at least 20% goes to malaysia, that's 1 in every 5 cars. just check the checkpoint's data.
      Thirdly, they limit e-bike speed is because you cannot introduce COE on e-bikes, cannot collect road tax from them. It's to protect their tax revenue. So that they force you to buy motorcycle or car, or take public transport so that they can collect public transport money or the road and coe taxes.
      You this our government is saint? what they can't tax, they'll ban. what they can't ban they will tax, what they can't tax and ban, they will make your life hard with it.

    • @johnnybenson2169
      @johnnybenson2169 8 років тому

      galaxymode
      Are you saying sudden burst of speed cannot cause accidents? It only save lives?
      20% is nothing compared to the 80%. So, your logic is to sacrifice the 80%'s safety for the sake of the 20% (even if we assume your number is right)?
      We live in Sgapore. Gov is always right. You must never question.
      I am always pro gov.

    • @galaxymode
      @galaxymode 8 років тому

      Johnny Benson Yeah, that's what I am trying to say, the other 80% have to learn how to drive safely. it's not my number it's the number the government give. Singapore government may be right. But you can't deny they are money faced. Any ways if you insist government is always right, then they must have their reason not to limit the ECU. So you better not question their decision.
