Better to use standard rubber gasket for doors after 4yrs, it will reduce 70% rather expensive 3M.
Maruti or Hyundai or Honda cannot be converted into BMW by Just damping.
*Of course, damping may help but not 100% solution of noise.
* Engine noise by proper lubrication oil
* Tyre maintaince by nitrogen.
* cabin noise by rubber gaskets
* sealants, glass, dash board , suspension bushes etc also lead to noises.

Damping will absorb external noise and vibrations from the engine that will definitely enhance your overall experience as your speakers will dominate the internal environment, vocal distortion can be due to the poor quality speakers. so not much can be said about that.

This is just a very rough way for noise reduction.. It does reduces few dB’s of structure borne noise mainly from larger panels..
The proper way is to understand the modal behaviour and to apply these sheets where there is max deflection.. Also the aluminium sheets with glue may not be much effective.. The sheet(Meltsheet / damper pad) has to be baked or heated for proper bonding on panel surfaces...
Coming to the job done at 3M.. its quite expensive if u look on dB reduction/ money spent..
Also u should keep in mind that u r adding more weight..Your car’s FE is going down..

Most likely we should keep cars in factory state (exception-music sys. ,tyres , alloys ,seat covers ) anything extra can be devaluing car if not done properly .

Yeh cheez aap kisi acche car audio installer ke paas bhi karva sakte hai, koi nayi baat nahi hai. Bas fark hai ki ab tak yeh cheez sirf achi music sunne ke shaukeen log hi karwate the kyuki isse kaafi madad milti hai aek behtereen audio experience ke liye.
Cost ka range bahut bada hai products ke range ke hisaab se aur mujhe yakin hai ki 3M kaafi zyaada charge karega toh audio installers ke paas bhi try karna ek accha vikalp hai. Dhanyawaad.
