I could watch stone roll off a mold board all day long 😊 Meanwhile, how nice is to say: I think I’ll grab the loader, now the skidster, now the 220, now the grader, now the roller🤣 Don’t get me wrong, you’ve worked your butt off for all those tools, but how nice to have the right tool for the job! Lookin’ great!
Out of all the equipment I have watched you operate, the motor grader seems to be the most challenging. So many functions and so many levers. You make it look easy.
That's a good load of topsoil for the farm and the gardens. And that road is going to be nice. The one that goes to your back pasture has held up so very well over the years and I bet this will do the same. Nice seeing Kyle help you with the skid steer and man can John spread the stone. He is a master with that dump truck. Thanks for bringing us along as you improve your farm.
I'll tell ya what, pretty much anything that can be laid out on the ground from mud, gravel, stone, dirt to rip rap Chris can work it into perfection like an old school renaissance sculptor. It's definitely a pleasure watching him work his equipment. I really like watching him working his grader. Lots of hand work getting the blade just right.
John did a great job 'tailgating' the road base and you did an excellent job spreading and 'crowning' the road. Love seeing the grader working, my favorite road building tool!
You mean 6 inches of cutout, with fabric and 6-8 inches of rock that are graded crowned and compacted, with appropriate drainage pipes and ditches. I would say likely better than 99% of farm roads, and likely better than commercial planned dirt and access roads. He'll, I bet it outlasts most paved roads. 😂
Great job as always and that is one long road. Beautiful farm and I can always hear the happiness in your voice when a job is well done on the homestead 🚜🐄.
☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 Chris you truly are an artist when it comes to moving & shaping earth. You SEE it as clearly as michangelo saw his statues within the marble. You love the earth & it shows, in your knowledge of the myriad types soils, trees, & stone. As for it being expensive, perhaps see it as a true investment/enhancement of property value, especially since you won’t have to repeatedly go back & repair, pull machinery out of mud pits etc. thank you for your calmness even when things go very awry blessings
Im sure the accountant will find ways of writing that financial out lay after all its an expenditure on farm improvements. Short term pain long term gain. Its more of a Hi-Way than a road, great stuff, it will last for ever with some minor annual touch ups.
Look like a concrete road Chris! Awesome job my friend and thanks for sharing and I hope you have a safe trip to Vegas brother! Can’t wait till you get back! Kirk from Lake Charles Louisiana! Sending prayers for you and your family! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Looking good Chris. I understand about the expensive part. I had to put up a 60x80x16 cold storage, 100g went away faster than smoke in a 40 mph wind. At least we get to enjoy the end result, .... right? lol
I want to build an 80x120x16 building so I can have my machine shop and a nice shop to work on my trucks under the same roof. I'm afraid to get a quote. I know its going to be way more than I think it should cost.
Rye Grass is looking Good ! Continuing with Your Farm Road - Leveling out the Stone - hey - so much more Progress ! Brilliant View from Underneath - that was very Exciting indeed ! Nice and Smooth - a very Decent Road for sure - well done - but more to do ! Many Cheers from Australia !!!!
That under the grader shot is money. Very relaxing. When you said you was going for the grader, I knew the roller was coming. Looked like a concrete driveway afterwards.
Man Chris you sure have some very Rich Soil on your Farm and you should be able to grow 🪴 anything you want and All of your Crops should do very well !
Tired of working my ass off all day to never get anywhere close to having a decent bit of land let alone the equipment to upkeep it. I've got the will just not the money. Happy for ya man. That must be such a relief at the end of the day and joy to look back at once you do something for YOUR property. Keep kicking ass man. Always fun to watch and take note for no reason.
Wow a lot of the dirt that came from that roadway of you cutting it in looks really good dirt to grow stuff, it looks really good and Rich some of us here in Georgia that would be great to use on a garden do have a good a really good crop for a year
It always cost more when doing your own because you always do more than than you started out to do and you want it prefect the first time great video thanks Chris I always do the same as you
Looking good a few more pond builds and yep you'll be perfect..it's given me an idea though on a very small pathway to build in my garden for the hedgehog walkway, pathway that will lead to the feeding houses I'm having made ..got a garden roller yep gravel rolled in will last a while.. westcountry UK out..
The field & the road look fantastic. I love that grader, especially the undercarriage view at the blade. The first video I watched of yours Chris, was a long driveway with you using the Fiatallis FG65C back in March 2021, I was hooked. Take care & cheers😊
That looks amazing!! So thankful to see green grass, none here in the Midwest yet. The road will serve u well as u made it solid. Thank u for video!!! God's blessings and stay safe.
Looks like you got froggy and rolled it out. Chris im always so impressed with any job you do young man. Chris you are so young and just look at the amazing jobs and equiptment that lets you do such amazing work. Im just so proud of you my friend. You are so much like me. I want to do it right the first time or im not going to do it. God bless you my friend.
What a perfect way of complaining, Chris he does the best work, then anyone other it's for himself or a customer. He is such a gentleman, and I'm also proud of him. Thank you, Chris, for sharing your knowledge and videos
LOVE your Motor Grader ... great job all around on the roadwork !!! BTW ... if it'll make you feel better, if you have the County build a gravel road, it runs between $3-5 million a mile ... good investment on your part Chris !!!
Road looks better than a lot of paved county roads around the US! I was half expecting Chris to get some clay and build a pond dam to keep the water out towards the woods on the right.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Our local rock pit prices went up 4 times last year - by end of October I was paying litterly double for the same load i was 3 months before.. Most people go to the valley 45 to 50 miles away for it and deliver back here in Siletz.. Looks great, the green grass and grey road looks good :)
Chri that’s some fancy highway you’ve got for a farm track , I worked on a sheep and cattle farm here in Tasmania that is about 92 thousand acres and the only track like that was the main driveway to the homestead ,shearing shed , stockyards and the workers houses the rest are just two wheel marks where vehicles travel constantly, I’ll have to share this with my old boss show him what he is missing out on lol😂😂😂, keep up the great work all the best from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺
The road looks great and I believe it was a good idea losing 3ft of grass is not good but not worrying about ruts and the mess they make is well worth the the loss.Easy access to move machinery around your farm area i think is very smart Chris 👍 7:20am 😎🇺🇸NY
Grass looks awesome, John sure knows how to spread the stone my friend! It’s nice to see when you have help Chris, you always work to your maximum on everything you do! At least you can take it easy and enjoy what you’re doing especially doing it for yourself looks awesome brother! Road looks great but I don’t expect any less with you Chris! You always do a amazing job on anything you do brother! Dang grass looks freaking awesome Chris, I bet the cows would love to eat up! lol 😂 Is it hay grass Chris? Just wondering, I’m old and don’t remember! lol 😂 😂😂😂
Got it looking really good Chris !! I bet you are running up a pretty good bill with all those loads of gravel, trip charges, Fuel , ect...But, you got it laid in there nice man, does look really good going down along the fence row there !! Great as always Man, Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
Nice transformation. It might cost a bit now but over the years to come you'll be glad that you made the investment now. The costs will only go up. So in a way you're saving money.
Hi Chris. I'm a non farmer and non digger. I write code for MS Excel and play poker for a living. But somehow, I stumbled across your channel a couple of years ago, subscribed and have been watching ever since. I have multiple monitors on my office system. So I can work on one monitor and watch your channel on another. Believe it or not it helps me work better when I watch. Haha.
The field is looking great, your road is coming along nicely.on the road just keep doing what you can do and you will be there before you know it.great video.keep it up.have your fence guys showed up yet.just curious.kudos 😎😎😎👍👍👍
You ever need some paving done, I'll bring my equipment down if you supply the materials and trucking. Haven't ever worked in the Carolinas. Been in Florida and west Virginia, that's about the closest I've came.
ooh, that camera shot, underneath, of the blade was a little shocking for a second. Didn't expect that. Impressive, to say the least. Nice going. God bless.
Seeing this, I’m getting impatient to see when you start digging your pond brother! Your farm is going to look and be amazing my friend! Can’t wait fast enough! lol 😂
The road is great, for sure, but I keep looking at the rye grass. Once the nitrogen gets going along with the warmer weather that pasture is going to look mint!
I could watch stone roll off a mold board all day long 😊
Meanwhile, how nice is to say: I think I’ll grab the loader, now the skidster, now the 220, now the grader, now the roller🤣
Don’t get me wrong, you’ve worked your butt off for all those tools, but how nice to have the right tool for the job!
Lookin’ great!
A fine looking road. It’s obvious you take the time and effort for your customers as well as your own work.
You film, I watch, everyone is happy.
Out of all the equipment I have watched you operate, the motor grader seems to be the most challenging. So many functions and so many levers. You make it look easy.
All your hard work and preparation has turned that scrub ground into one beautiful field! Well done and congratulations.
That's a good load of topsoil for the farm and the gardens. And that road is going to be nice. The one that goes to your back pasture has held up so very well over the years and I bet this will do the same. Nice seeing Kyle help you with the skid steer and man can John spread the stone. Lots of hand work getting the blade just right.
Always doing a job the right way just shows how much you care about your work even on your own farm.
John did a great job 'tailgating' the road base and you did an excellent job spreading and 'crowning' the road. Love seeing the grader working, my favorite road building tool!
Doing work for yourself always cost more than you think.
The farm projects are looking good!! Enjoying the progress. Looks like you will have bales soon!!
Love the sound of spring with all the peepers in the back ground (peepers are a little tree frog all around the USA)
Nice looking field, soil looks good too.🇺🇸🇨🇱🙂
I grew up on a farm and worked on many more in my lifetime. I’ve got to say that this access road is way beyond any field access road I’ve ever seen.
Don't forget, Chris is building the road because he is putting up cabins and the tourists / visitors are going to need proper access.
The county road in front of my place isn’t half as good as that road!!!
lol its not a farm "road" unless you get your tractor stuck in it at least once working your field ☺🤔
@@mshilko better than most of the state roads around here 👍🏼
Good work Chris, you are making that farm better with every project you do to it.
Great job as always and that is one long road. Beautiful farm and I can always hear the happiness in your voice when a job is well done on the homestead 🚜🐄.
WOW! The grass in the video where you’re using the 220 looks fabulous!
Never ceases to amaze me at the finesse you use with such a big machine.
Are we privy to him making the road from scratch? Oh, Boy. This is another thing I can enjoy
watching "over his shoulder" from my arm chair!

Brilliant road, looks so much better and will no doubt be easy to move around the farm. 👍🤗
Love watching that grader work.., gotta be very satisfying seeing the end result with it. We need more grader footage.., hahaha.
Thank you sir.
Another Solid-driveway, great work Chris.
Looking good Chris. I understand about the expensive part. I had to put up a 60x80x16 cold storage, 100g went away faster than smoke in a 40 mph wind. At least we get to enjoy the end result, .... right? lol
I do a little at the time to make the fun last longer LOL
Fun for you and for us!
I want to build an 80x120x16 building so I can have my machine shop and a nice shop to work on my trucks under the same roof. I'm afraid to get a quote. I know its going to be way more than I think it should cost.

You can get whatever you want if you play your cards right. There is opportunity abound for all. It’s yours for the taking.
That is some beautiful looking topsoil

It is nice to see you found the time to work on your own farm again.
You also trim that grass so neat and stright with that bucket on that Volvo.
The new road and field colour contrast is lovely - fresh. Pasture looks great.
Chris you make everything beautiful. Proud for you. Have fun in Vegas.
Beautiful ...."green , green grass of home"
Fantastic job on the road chris
Man I enjoy thoses videos on your farm Chris .

Notable difference the grader makes.

Road looks great .

TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
The road is great, for sure, but I keep looking at the rye grass. Once the nitrogen gets going along with the warmer weather that pasture is going to look mint!
The dirt you are removing looks like some go top soil. The road looking good
The field and that road look immaculate!
Great job Chris and costing a lot of $$$$$
Love the jacked-up sprayer truck. Bet it’s a hoot to drive.
They are called spray coupes, used to come with a vw engine. Factory made
That's like a good road Chris 😊 👍
Now, that’s a road! Great work Chris!
Nice road, due to your hard work.
It might be expensive but it sets a good example for what you can do to potential customers!
Very awesome "farm road" !
Really taking shape. Would hate to see the bill from the rock, but not much you can do about it. Thanks for sharing.
Looks great Chris 👍👍👍
