❤❤ wonderful explanation sir
I am currently persuing PhD at a Japanese University. The major adjustment for any student is to tackle the language barrier and pile of paperwork, even within the university for administrative work, one has to know japanese. Life is easier with google translate. The society is overall introverted, they won't bother you and they don't wanna be bothered. Also, the chain of command in the lab should never be challenged.
Yes language is certainly an issue in Japan. It may be a good idea to learn Japanese if one goes to Japan. Ya I have heard that the society is top down and so people from open cultures can have problems in adjusting. It is the same in Korea also. On the positive side people are very polite and there are a lot of nice places to travel to such as Kyoto. Greatly appreciate your feedback on the channel.
are you getting an stipend. also how do you prepare your research proposal . please reply
what would be the acceptance rate for btech students applying for direct phd if having some research papers and what are the good universities for research in AI in japan?
It is easier for masters students but if you have papers with as a BTech student you can contact some professors directly. You can search for AI papers in Google scholar to see where these are from and who is writing them. The MEXT scholarship may also be useful for you.

Thank you Sir for your informative video. I am a master degree holder in computer science from UK. I am currently teaching in a university. I have completed my master after doing my 4 years Bachelors degree. I have only 2 research papers that too not as a first author. I am wondering shall i apply directly into PhD positions or go for MS (by research) leading to PhD in new emerging area ? The question is asked because of my very low research profile, but massive teaching experience at university level. I am motivated towards getting scholarship to fund my studies. Kindly help
Since you have a masters degree you can do for the PhD. In most places the PhD is only by research and you have a lot of time to do work in the new research area.
Sir I am currently pursuing bsc honors in sericulture and I wantvto do my phd in japan. Can you tell me if there are nay university in japan allowing phd in sericulture
There are many departments with agriculture and life sciences specialties such as university of Tokyo etc. A literature survey will show you where there are active researchers publishing papers in the field. You can do this through google scholar. Then you can find which university you want to go to..
my profile is like 2.6/4 GPA in Bachelor's and will be arround 3 GPA in masters. published a book and one conference paper in MTP journal and now working on non linear dynamics which will be published in a monthor so. so with this profile am i eligible to do a phd in japan.
Yes the paper and book will help along with the rising GPA. It depends on the university, professor and his lab though.
@@Drganguli so i have hope! thanks Dr.

Sir, I'm currently living in Japan ; and had post graduated from India. How can i apply for a Ph.D .?!
You have to write to professors in your research area working in Japan that you want to do a PhD with them. You can find such professors by searching in Google scholar for papers published from Japan in your research area. You may get some response from them. Try to find professors who have global experience as they are more amenable to international students. You can also check the web pages on universities for PhD admission.

I have done my master and i will soon be done with my m.phil programe in applied mathematics, what are my chances for phd?
Will there be a need for Toefl since i had all my degrees in English.Kindly clarify.
Yes, there is good scope for PhD in applied math. You can write emails to different professors in your area and also look at the MEXT scholarships in Japan. They typically do an interview before final offer. The English requirement will depend on the university. Are you from a native English country or not? In my opinion, English tests help when you are a non-native speaker or user of English. These videos will help you further.

Sir I have Got 4.7 GPA And I'm from uzbekistan But Ihaven't got IELTS sertificate Can I enter PHD
You can do PhD in Japan without IELTS in most cases. But for other countries you may need IELTS. If you want, you can spend some time to prepare for IELTS as you need that level of English skills to publish and give talks in research.

Do Japanese care about how a student is? Such is no students over 35?
Yes I think they have some age restrictions such as maximum age as 35 or five years of less after PhD. But you should verify on their website. Typically western countries don’t have age restrictions but most Asian countries do.
