Can I just say to have you Julian Edleman, and you Sam Morril on the same freakin channel is cool. Instant follow interesting dynamic with both you look forward to your videos.
‘07 Patriots would’ve topped every all-time great NFL teams list if only they had won that final game.
Those Giant losses played a huge part in future titles. Tom was pissed...
@@DMDvideo10 yeah, most likely
That game should highlight how important the O line is for Tom.
@@DMDvideo10 I’ll never let the Eagles SB loss go. Malcom Butler would’ve been a difference imo.
@@Kaizen2013v belichec always says he does what’s best for the team. I want to know how not playing Malcolm in that super bowl was best for the team?
The fact that he is honest, saying “I had no idea if we were going to win yet we still had to make a touchdown” just shows how fucking pragmatic and realistic he is. Zero ego. definitely want to be like this.
The true definition of ZERO ego for sure
Holy shit. Jules' impression of Randy has me rolling LOL
Edelnut
"Whenever you just throw a ball high in the middle of the field to a crowded area, good things happen" 5:10
- Eli Manning
Funny how he is saying that in jest to Edelman’s superbowl catch against Atlanta.
Julian is one of my favorite NFL players of all time. Stoked that this is a podcast.
the big thing for the giants was they played the pats in week 17 that year. they had faced off only like 4 or 5 weeks prior to the Super Bowl and the giants played them incredibly tough. that game gave them the confidence that they could win. if they hadn’t faced off during the regular season, it may have been a different story
I remember that game. Giants put up a great effort and I think it went down to a last-second field goal. Real coin-flip game. When the Super Bowl teams were clear I knew it’d be hard.
the change in momentum begin in the second half against washington and then kept building and building every game afterwards. week 17 built a tremendous amount of confidence and that's when the Giants KNEW
@@KnicksNYanks84 yes exactly. also, although the pats went undefeated, they were not embarrassing teams as much during the second half of the year. a lot of their games were close. as is usually the case, teams start to figure you out as the season wears on
@@L3GITxGAM3R yup for sure. they got everyone's best shot. i remember their game against the ravens was really close even though the pats were much better
I agree, I also think the Pats were playing with more pressure while NY had nothing to lose. It's easier to give it your all when everyone expects you to lose the game, while the other team is playing nervous because history is on the line.
Patriots fan here, been watching since the 60’s … that loss hurts the most in my memory. But I respect the Mannings so much, total class acts all of them. They deserved any success they worked for. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to the other team. The Giants earned both those SB victories, as much as it kills me to say it.
I feel the exact same way. I want to dislike the Mannings and those Giants teams, but I just can’t
I remember thinking it was such an honor to be in a superbowl against Tom Bill and the Pats, even if we got blown out 45-0. To be there on that stage with them, I was very proud to be a Giants fan.
@@KnicksNYanks84 As a kid growing up I remember being a quasi-Giants fan because the Pats stunk so bad. Fran Tarkenton was the QB for NY then!😂
Bears fan here…. Those damn mannings :(
I mean, minus the 5 no-calls for holding on the Helmet Catch, but sure. Eli hung in there and gutted it out, but more importantly the Giants' front four in '07 just played an absolutely incredible game. They earned that win, sure, but the Helmet Catch should've been called back. Who knows what happens from there, though.
Big time Giants fan here. SO much respect to Tom, Bill and the Patriots they command the utmost respect when competing against. What a class organization and individuals. Massachusetts sports fans are the best at supporting their team and the most passionate. As a NYer I went to school in MA so my closest friends are big time Boston sports fans and they're the best to be around when watching sports. I love the NY/Bos connection in sports so full of integrity, excellence, competition and passion. Also F the Astros.
Finally, someone who doesn't pit Brady and Bill against each other like the media and shows respect. From a Patriots fan, I also respect the NY fanbase, especially the Yankees, unbelievable franchise and fanbase.
Respect
The Astros have owned the Yankees since 2016
Fr the manning family are awesome but damn if it wasn’t the brother in the afc championship game it was Eli in the Super Bowl 😩
Also, F, the Astros😂😂😂
The eli manning part is my favorite it was like a very polite argument and at the end everyone just loves football.
I was a freshman in highschool when we lost that super bowl in 07 and I'm still not over it..bin waiting for this podcast ever since Jules mentioned it on all the smoke. This is going to be lit!!
Asante Samuel dropping the easy pick before the big helmet catch was when we really lost
Yeah, total choke artist.
I'll never forget that day, I was in 11th grade and had started my first job. I remember working early that morning then going to my uncle house. He literally said the giants was gonna win....I was arrogant as fuck about the Patriots when they lost that game I didn't wanna go outside the house for weeks
And now he has the balls to rip Belichick. POS.
And talking shit about how good he was on every podcast that he is allowed to...
That was a pickable ball but far from an easy pick
Eli channeled his inner Chad Powers on that drive!!! THINK FAST, RUN FAST 😂
The Randy Moss impression is killing me 😂😂😂
BRUSCHI!!!!!!! TB54!!!! My favorite Linebacker ever! He's not just a linebacker but a passionate player, unstoppable strength inspired; battle tested - an all-around grid iron bad ass! Much respect!
"They were pulling on him but you can't call that in the Super Bowl."
Well this aged well...
Absolutely love Teddy. Dude is tough as they come.

Are you going to be posting full video on UA-cam? Audio on the website is great though!
3 missed holding calls on the helmet catch definitely helped lol
Not a Giants fan at all but I remember that game and catch like it was yesterday. So great hearing these stories and thought process.
You tricked me into listening to Eli talk about Super Bowl 42!
Right I was like wtf I went to go get cereal came back to the video and it was Eli talking instead of Tedy?
Tom to actually score with that pressure. 18 and 0. Have to score. Greatest clutch sportsman period. I remember the look Moss gave Tom after grabbing the pass. Like: Really Tom.
Defense was really gassed at that point. Really gassed. Their best drive was the opening drive TD.
Jules, you should have a special show with you and Tom where yall just talk about the days playing together. Talk about yall favorite games and moments
this has got to be one of my favourite podcasts :)))
Class act Eli. Respect, this from a Brady fan.
Randy Moss: throw that blitz zero out of here!!! 😂
I hated Eli until he retired bc of how funny he is, “what’s the saying u throw it up in the middle of the field good things happen”
Go Patriots! I loved watching you two play! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Yep. This show will be a banger
Great podcast guys 💯
Julien throwing the 55 yard td pass vs the ravens in the playoffs was gold
Awesome, thank you
Teddy didn’t get as many accolades as it’s required to make the HOF but he is in our eyes
Edelman's stories and impersonations are the best!
Julian, you should do your first game back for the 2022 season! itd be awesome to see what your thought process was as you catch dimes from mac jones!
Doesn't matter if they lost that super bowl 😆 to me the 07' Patriots are still by far the very best total unit/Team of all Time 👏
gotta judge by their era but obviously if the patriots play that Miami team the patriots win by 30
Love the show. 1 problem it's not long enough !!!!
Im glad I got to witness that game.
Can’t believe they didn’t ask about his reaction to Samuel brick handing the game winning INT
The helmet catch doesn't happen if Aasante Samuel doesn't drop that interception.
Eli is excellent in interviews. Lots of fun.
as a pats fan, i salute Eli.. as hard as it is, i respect the dude
Me too, he's the only football player that's ever made me cry.
@@chadwillett619 😂 😂 😂 me too…. Still cry sometimes about it
@@chadwillett619 not a Super Bowl goes by post 42 , that doesn’t show atleast ONE highlight of that… hard for me to say it…. Helmet catch…… FUH!!!! … ya so I’ve cried about 42 atleast once a year…
@@xCaptainAroniousx for as lucky as that entire play was from start to the catch there is a pass that Eli made in the second loss that was as good as any I'm the history of the universe that put us away in that game do you remember that one?
@@chadwillett619 of course I remember….. Mario manningham … I don’t cry about that one though because it was all skill … great throw great catch … that loss made me depressed for a month… I almost got fired from my job for it
Eli is a great interviewee. Definitely gonna be a great analyst on nfl for a long time and will go HoF in each
This is gold with the guys razzing each other.
That moss impression was fuckin MONEY😂😂😂😂
I believe eli when he says he wasnt nervous. I can remember being a senior on a 4 and 5 team, but never was i nervous, we practiced hard and played hard, and wanted to go show out.
I came for a Brady story…. Got Eli beating us in 07 lol
My opinion as a Pats fan on the possible holding call on the Tyree catch is sure it could've been called, but begrudgingly I admit it doesn't take away from how impressive that moment was.
When does the whole episode drop?
He totally maned up and escaped being sack to make that throw! If you watch it it's unbelievably what he did physically and his mental determination was incredible!
How do we get the full 2 hour episode on video?
"what holding? 😄" - Eli Manning
There were two blatant holds on the helmet catch. Wilfork had a guy on his back looking like he was trying to secure a rear naked choke. Then a pass rusher got the advantage and had a hold of Eli's jersey while he was being held by the lineman.
Not related to the context, but I knew Julian Eledeman was going to be great when I saw his heart during the 2009 playoff game against Baltimore.
Great start guys! Looking forward to all of the insights- especially during the season- and great stories and guests!👍
man, i remember all of this soo vividly I started getting goosebumps hearing this. One of the best memories in my life that entire drive. Eli wee miss you, so many fans took you for granted. Nobody was clutch like Eli in the second half of meaningful games. It's been tough sledding without you.
put full episodes on youtube
edelnut loved hearing this
I fucking love these stories. And this podcast.
ISAIHA THOMAS…. PLEASE. He represents the fuckin heart and soul of Boston, mans gave his ALL for our city and our fans. I kid you not, watching him in the playoffs on the Celtics with Marcus MIGHTVE been more entertaining that what’s going on right now with the C’s. God I miss him so much, and I’ve been in Boston all my life. That game after his sister died dots my skin with goosebumps till this day whenever I think about it. GOD BLESS ISAIHA THOMAS.
Also, Thomas Webb, Reading MA. Put me in coach, I AM podcasts.
Isaiha and Pierce together on an episode maybe with like Marcus too would be WILD.
Also, if y’all could get branden bolden on a podcast that’d be unreal.
I swear those old guys from that perfect dolphins season were sitting around a cauldron that night chanting some wild voodoo shit 😢🥺🥺.
Respect to Eli from a Pats fan
Guys 2 things... 1 why isnt the whole thing on youtube? 2. Some people will like 2 hours but if you give me 15 -20 minutes with each guest on UA-cam ill watch ever video. I loved the video and im excited for you guys to do well. great 1st podcast. Love it.
This is going to become very popular, and has a chance to be great. Just please do not sell out to a major media outlet (NBC, FoxSports, ESPN, etc.). They will probably offer a lot when this takes off, but they always ruin shit.
That offense the pats had a crazy offense that year
Eli is as calm as calm can be. Peyton’s mind never turns off. Pat McAfee talks about Peyton sending texts all night long when they were both Colts. Peyton and Eli…..They’re the complete opposite mentally but both great….
Eli is best when his back is up against the wall …. He’s cool, calm, collected. Playing ball is physical but it’s a mind game too. Caitlin Clark said she sees a play before it happens.
How has Tedy not aged a day in like 15 years???
Why am I subscribed to the channel with all notifications on. I don’t remember ever hearing of this channel before in my life
I think Edelman turned his old UA-cam channel into this
Ok so unsubscribe then jesus christ
Facts then I realized it's Edelman old channel
@@blindbeatzz I wasn’t mad I was just genuinely confused. I generally don’t see channels I’m not familiar with show up in my notifications
His Randy Moss is spot on 😂😂😂
Say what you want bout Eli, not the greatest overall, but one of the clutchest quarterbacks to ever play, completely different person and poise in those situations...turned into a completely different player when he had a chance to win in the biggest games
Teddy's really taking care of himself he looks really young
I'm 38 and I wish I looked as young as him
Looked like a filter on the camera.
Even I can’t hate he looks great!
Experts at the time were given the NY Football Gaints a 500 - 1 chance at the start of the run
eli defending the holding no call is impressive
Eli: rules are rules, they don't change because it is the SB
WOW THE LANGUAGE!!
Talking about Old TB to the OG TB
3:00 Eli givea a great answer. And this is what separates normal ppl from legendary players. He wasnt terrified of that situation. He wanted to be guy with ball, 2min to go, down 4pts for Super Bowl.
The guys who call him Tommy know the fun stuff.
Brady’s kryptonite of course is Eli… but a front four that can get to the QB… that’s was it right there.
As a fan, yeah, that game still hurts. But good for the Giants.
as much as it pains me watching this it was a great and fun interview lol Eli was such a bad QB it will always hurt me lol
I think the Giants and Ravens were the only two teams that ppl thought had a chance to beat the Pats that year because of their defenses. The Giants had 4-5 legit high level pass rushers on the d-line. So they could get pressure with 4 and drop 7 in coverage every time. They really dominated the line of scrimmage in that Superbowl and Eli pulled a rabbit out of his ass and won the game. I loved it even though I'm a washington fan
During the Patriots dynasty the ravens and giants were the only teams that truly scared me as a pats fan...they always matched up well and could pressure Brady without blitzing
#54 !!
I still consider them the best team ever....the 72 dolphins thing is borderline laughable.
Hello. Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
yeah the 07 pats were still the greatest team of all-time. salary cap era and degree of difficulty of that schedule and how they straight up destroyed teams. 07 brady was the best QBing anyone has ever seen BY FAR. a miraculous loss doesn't magically make them not the greatest when you know they would have won 99/100 games.
Yea, it does. The whole point of the season is to win the SB. Plenty of 18-1 teams, only 1 didn't win the SB.
jules saying how no one gave them the giants a chance but as a pats fan i was scared shitless because of the last game of the season .giants could have mailed it in they were already in the playoffs but instead of giving the pats a undeafeted season they played mthere asses off and showed they could play w the pats. we won and i said to my buddys i dont want the giants period
The 1 SB im rootn for the pats (bc of moss) they let me down 😢
Right before he escaped the ref was coming in to blow it dead
To be the Man, you gotta beat the Man. Eli’s the Man. Hate it or love it. He’s the Man.
I hate Eli. But at the same time I love his awkward thing he has going on, it's pretty funny and he knows it and just embraces it.
Eli stands alone. He played in two Super Bowls and went undefeated against the GOAT.
Thank God for Eli! Lol
I never liked Manning. Ever since he refused to play for the Chargers. This interview changed my mind. He’s alright.
Eli is the best. Did what he had to do, when he had to do it.
Eli just laughing
Tedi Bruschi does not age
Eli Manning is awesome, so much respect for him.
I knew that the Giants were going to win it all after they won the wildcards round. It was just something special about that team.
