This is a really well done guide, I love how you really planned out and assessed your hair through out every step. A lot of people are soooo impulsive about it and then get shocked when its falling out or needs a big chop! I did a process pretty similar to yours and Im very happy with it and got to retain my hair's health and length pretty well, still trying to find the perfect copper but that just an issue of looking for better direct dyes. Thanks for the very educational video and hope youre doing well!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch xoxoxo I am happy you did a similar process and was able to maintain the health and length of your hair. It’s so important for me to have long thick hair 😅 so I was doing my best to wait in between sessions. Adore hair dye was by far my favorite for copper colors. I tried just about every copper tone they had and my favorite combo was French cognac with ginger and a bit of Cajun spice
Ouuuu Yessss!!! What color/brand dye do you use? I have been exploring different colors and have yet find THE color 😩 So far just using color depositing conditioners and temporary dyes. The closest to the "ginger" color was basically what I did in this video. Since then its turned into a reddish color that I do notttt like 😩
@@JoselineJimenez yea I know exactly what you mean. For me I fluctuate between my gingers/auburns I lighten my hair, which is a 3 to about 2 levels higher to get a decent base. I have tried every demi/semi and permanent color under the sun. So far I mix my root with a Madison Reed Vesuvius Red -7NCR and my mid-length to ends with Keracolor Semi clenditioner in Copper. That's so far my routine for the past 6 months. I may go temp darker with fall and winter with Kristin Ess Copper Penny Gloss
Congratulations 🎉 and LOVE the hair, I didn’t see anyone mention to you that when your pregnant sometimes products like bleach, relaxer’s and textures don’t work as well on your hair when your not pregnant for some reason. Went through the same thing when I was pregnant, something about hormone changes may affect your hair so the results may not be what you normally expect.
Thank you sooo muchhh Im finally at the final stretch before giving birth. I totally did not know this but it makes perfect sense. I will probably have to try this again once I have him to see how it turns out. So far I’m still trying for that perfect ginger shade 😭
Ah… understandable also Hair Buddha on here said that pregnant women should be careful since bleach as well as everything you put onto ur skin including your head absorbs things and it goes into your blood stream.
Yes I do still have the same hair color but have since experienced with many other color deposits to see which shade of copper/red I like best. So far my favorite tone was when I first dyed it (this video). I think Medium-Tan skin tones look great in this hair color! Pshhh alllllll skin tones look good in this color 😃🤩
This is the most informative, helpful video I could find here on UA-cam. Currently going from dark to ginger and this video has helped me a lot. Thankyou x
thank you so much!!!! this was really helpful. i know that like hair salons exist but i cannot afford to pay $600+ for my hair lol i love how detailed your instructions are and how clear they are. thank you so much once again. im excited to dye my hair. hope it ends well lol
Thank you so much love xoxo I’m still wanting it to be a little more ginger and less reddish but eventually we will get there 😅 let’s not fry off my hair… thank you for watching xoxoxo
@@JoselineJimenez Oh for sure haha!! I was looking up videos for inspo for doing my hair and yours turned out so good I did it yesterday 😂 I’m in love with it 😍 stay gorgeous girly 🤍
I have pixie hair so sadly cant really not get my roots lol but gonna do haor color remover one round of bleach all over lol then dying mine sizzing copper with copper and copper booster but im using 20 volume and a bleach thats for dark hair that has bonding tripleplex bonding
YOu did so well! Really impressed you knew to wait to bleach your roots til you had figured the rest of your hair out, I've watched so many of these videos and so few people do that. It looks great!
I was pregnant with twins girls in 2016 , I had them do early but by 4 months I couldn’t breathe I hated that feeling. I remember just sitting with a window open trying to catch my breath !!!! Pregnancy is beautiful but I was one huge mama waddling around thank goodness I only had to focus on growing my babes and got to sit at home and try to catch my breath every other second 😂. Long story short. Your hair came out stunning I love color oops it does stink and you need to wash it out for 20 mins and shampoo like 763 times. Also I thought color zap had bleach in it as well. I’m not sure. I’ve tried so many color removers. And the color oops has been my go to. Update I know this video is older I hope you had a safe rest of your pregnancy and an easy birth. And healthy baby. ❤❤
Twinsssss 🌟✨ wow bless your heart XO pregnancy was soooo hard to the point that pushing him out was the easy part lol thank you for your kind words I have a healthy 2.5 year old boy 🥹 I had this hair color for a good 2 years and then ended up going back to black because of how fast my roots were growing in. The maintenance was time consuming and with a toddler time is an interesting thing to balance. I did love the color and miss it 😢
Thank you love xoxo I asked my doctor prior to doing all of this and she said as long as I was past the 3 month mark I would be fine as long as I made sure to be in a ventilated area.
Okay I love how it turned out! However! High color highlights literally lightens and deposits color at the same time! I think you should’ve just used that instead of the bleach! Cause in all actuality you just lightened your hair again which is why you ended up with hot roots unfortunately and if you wanted to leave it in that long next time go with a 20 vol or less! 30 vol just blows open your hair shaft.
Thank you, yeah I should have done more research but I was impatient 🤭 I did end up using the 5 boxes of high color highlights and hated the color on me. Since then I’ve been using color lux direct vibes in copper to maintain the color after going back. It’s nice however I wish to eventually go lighter 😵💫
Good morning ☀️, hi I just found your channel , I really love this hair color. It’s beautiful, I just have a question, is it safe to dye your hair when you are pregnant? Everyone around me says it isn’t safe, but I also heard that you can dye your hair with amônia free hair dye. So yeah that’s my question☺️♥️
Hello 👋 Thank you so much for stopping by to watch this video XOXO.. So as far as dying my hair my doctor cleared me after 3 months. She said the first 3 months are the delicate phase of pregnancy but after is totally fine. I've heard mixed reviews about it but once my doctor cleared me I felt comfortable enough to dye my hair. I recommend just asking your doctor what they think and go about it that way.
This is something no one can agree on, like all aspects of pregnancy. But many many people do color their hair and it does not appear to cause ill effects so if you and your doc are comfortable go for it! ❤
Hello 👋🏻 I’ve had it on for over a month now and I had to touch up my roots (because of greys 👵🏼) while I touched up the roots I went ahead and added the remaining adore color into my shampoo and conditioner to ensure the color stays vibrant. So far so good 😊 I’d like to note that I only ever wash my hair once every 9-12 days. I have a dry scalp naturally so I can go long periods without washing the locks. Hope this helps
I wash my hair about once a week sometimes once every two weeks. My hair doesn’t grease up through the days so I’m able to go a lot longer than most without a wash. That being said the Adore does last for me.
I dyed my hair half black, half white for months then dyed my hair all black and my bitchass has to get my natural ginger back to join the National Guard 😭
