@@LexBelleXO I ended up letting my roots grow out and then I ran into another problem with my roots not taking the color bc I was using Adore, so I used the crème of nature hair dye in ginger blonde to get my roots light instead of just using bleach which tbh I think it’s the same thing but that hair dye had oils and stuff in it so my hair was perfectly fine afterwards, and now I’m a ginger, I would suggest when you do start dying your hair do your ends first and depending how dark your hair is, then use 30 or 40 then use 20 volume for your roots bc it doesn’t need to be that high of a level to lift, if that does not work for your roots then go up to 30 but try not to use 40 if you can.

Hi friend! I should have mentioned it is best to start at the ends and then do roots when the ends have processed for about 15 minutes! I didn't think to mention it because it did not apply to me (my ends were light already). What I would do is give my hair a break of at least two days, then dye only your ends with the same color and a lower volume developer (20 or 30 depending on your hair's health and difference in color). Usually roots do take dye faster. I believe I mention somewhere in this video that when I do "maintenance" of about 1 inch of regrowth, I hit my roots with 20 vol. :)
I thought you weren’t supposed to use hicolor to refresh your color if you’ve already colored it in the past. Doesn’t it damage it? I I thought you’re only supposed to use it to retouch your roots and then find a semi permanent hair color for the rest.

I don’t want a super duper vibrant result or too much damage which is why I chose a less potent developer. What do u think?
Hi friend! If you do not want super vibrant results, 20 volume should be okay! I would suggest 30 vol with 30mins processing time though, and that is because you have untouched hair so damage from one dye will not be drastic. :) On top of that, reds tend to loose intensity after a few weeks. To keep the color lasting longer I suggest a "color safe" shampoo. Works wonders!

I love this, if my hair is blonde already can i put this on top
Definitely not. Hicolor is meant for dark hair
If your hair is blonde, you can probably find a hair dye for blondes, from the same brand!
You’re not supposed to but I did. I used the sizzling copper one and came out just as good.
I didn’t use developer, just the dye straight out of tube
Did u do ur eyebrows ??
If yall have VIRGIN black or dark brown hair try using 40 developer
Is it copper or sizzling copper?
It's just copper :)
I wish i could get my hand on this hair dye, but unfortunately it doesn't sell here in Sweden.. 😭Same time i couldn't find a good seller on amazon, it seems like many sell fake one... Iam in love with the color😍❤️
If you go to Sally Beauty Supply’s Website, they have it and should be able to ship it to you
@@kierrahouston5412 thanks but they dont ship to Europe 😔
Hi friend! I would not mind purchasing and mailing to you!! Feel free to email me: melibabes97@gmail.com
L’Oréal c74 is the exact same shade
Plz tell me the website from where u buy this hair color
Here is the link babe!

I don’t understand how to read a dye bowl, how do i know where the 2 and a half mark is? It only says numbers if that makes sense
I think i know what you mean!
The bowl i had, had #'s on the side and had a mark for 2.5
Maybe your bowl is divided differently?
Que color es el que te aplicaste?
I want that hair color. So if u recently dyed your hair...what do I need to do and how long do I have to wait to change my color? Thank you!
how many boxes did you use ?
Is this copper red ?❤️
I would consider it copper red :-)
very very nice!👍
How you get the dye out yo hair?
How many boxes of dye did u used gorg !?
One on the roots, one on the ends! :)
@@mediocremel201 thank u!! One more question i have split ends they are a bit ruined from straightening my hair i also don’t want my hair to be really bright like yours my hair rn looks similar to yours as how you had it before doing the process so i was wondering what developer level do you recommend that i use ? :)
My hair is light brown/dark blonde (like a level 6/67) so it’s not really dark but I love the shade of this dye. Do you think it would work
Btw your curls are life. I have a similar curl pattern but a tad longer so this is giving me so much inspiration
I actually am not sure 🥺
But I would try a different hair dye just in case; this dye specifies dark hair colors only :/
Mediocre Mel thanks for the advice. It just sucks because unless I want box dye, all of Sally’s normal dyes are true reds or too brown 🙄 but you’re probably right.
Raven Renje I would recommend the the adore range for you, if you have naturally light brown hair, your hair will take on any orange/copper pigments easily. Adore do a lovely shade called ‘french cognac’ which is a beautiful natural looking copper shade. They are also semi permanent and conditioning, so they won’t damage your hair.
@@Old_Cowboy_Magic omg thanks so much! Made my day 😭
What eyebrow color shade did u use ??
Just the closes matching eye shadow! I do not remember which it was I'm sorry!
is this the sizzling copper color?
From my knowledge it is only called "copper"

thank you! also eyebrow pencil/pomade are you using?
@@southwest2021 for my brows I used the nyx brow gel and the closest color eyeshadow 😋 but keep in mind I dyed my brows with my hair! 🤣
@StephanieTorres You're confusing regular Loreal HiColor's Sizzling Copper, with Loreal Hicolor HILIGHTS Copper - The HiLights versions of this product gives you much more intense, bright color.
This was so helpful!,
Next time 20 vol on roots and 30 at the ends if they’re dark
Very very beautiful 😍 ilove red hair 😢😞
WhAt mix did u do ?
I tried this yesterday and my black box dyed hair did not lift n now I have bright orange roots and dark ends😭😭
ok idk how it looks obviously but that actually sounds really cute
You got to use color ooos first to take the box dye out sis then the hicolor ❤️
I'm so sorry! Boxed dye is not too good for your hair.... I agree with another comment here, try color oops! But this specific line may not be ideal for you, since you have other dyes underneath 🥺
what hair dye is thisssss??? 😍
Omg you are so beautiful
Thank you so much! 😭
so fuckifn cute on soul. this is what i want 😩
