At 05:20 I placed an order on a Cs-L (plus a heap of other Instruo modules)!!!
Very musical demonstration of what this module can do. Thank you!!! It will be used hard in my rig :D. Memorizing the routings and other things can be a pain using the button combinations, agree totally, but my experience is what you use a lot - you remember, good enough for me.
I stand by Blush response as BY FAR the best product demos. Your enthusiasm is obvious but it reflects in the way you experiment.
I love the fact that when your voice stops ducking the tones, the caption comes up as [foreign].
Lights, button combination and pages of "modes" on modules takes away a whole lot of the immediacy and intuition of use. Nice to hear someone calling it out in a review for once. Who wants to memorize all of that? Love the instruo sound and visuals though. Great demo a d review.
Man thanks so much for this demo! I have had the cs-l for a couple of years now but this demo reminded me of what crazy atonal techno noises it is capable of. Been at it every day since this vid came out.
Как же я долго ждал этого момента, чувак!!!!!! Вот уже 2 года я вскрываю внутренний мир Cs-L, правда в VCV, но это просто что-то из чего-то!!! Подобной глубины и функционала я даже близко не встречал, а его психоделия... О, мужик - ЭТО НЕЧТО!!!!!!!!!! Он сводит с ума, в буквальном смысле этого слова!))) Но эти чувства просто не поддаются словам!!!
В Индустриальном звучании - это просто находка для искушённого разума!!!))) Очень крутое путешествие, спасибо тебе, Джоуи!)))

Nice video. The Rossum ladder does not have a volume drop.
I like to use filter sine waves in dual, quad etc filters. Belgrad is wild with it. But aside from that i prefer a sinewave oscillator as well
The best filter for Cs-L is make noise QPAS. Hands down
I've got one but for some reason mine never sounds as good.

IIRC the Rossum ladder filter has resonance gain compensation.

Hey what filter do you recommend that doesn’t lose bass volume with resonance? In a small size like aradh? 6-8hp

from 16.14 on it’s kickass !!! whete you’re syncing and gating from ??? cv in lower osc ??? f*** it, just great! my csl is coming tomorrow my aradh is waiting with the tsl and all will be kicked in a dfam !!!
love your crazy videos. Cs-L is one of those modules I half regret selling... I like a lot of instruo's stuff but their button combos are wayyy overwrought, and getting worse on the newer modules. I can't imagine half of those combos get any actual musical use.
