- A Christmas Eve dinner at the Ivy in the Park Canary Wharf. An amazing 3 course Xmas meal with family - my son Luke & my Mum. A favourite restaurant of mine which always delivers a high end experience from entering reception to made to feel welcome in the dining area to leaving with a smile from concierge. A full dining experience, and on this festive season.
The goose and turkey shepherds pie was totally off the charts.

I say to all my mates who still have there mum with them, mums are special people you only get 1 treat them well and treasure them. Because when they are gone you are going to miss her everyday of your life.

I took my mother out for Sunday Lunch as an early mother's day present in February 2020 just before we were put into lockdown, never saw her again before her death in December 2021, so glad I did that!! You only get one mother!

How sweet are you taking Luke and your beautiful mum to The Ivy for Christmas Eve. As you said, the facial expressions definitely run in the family. Super cute. Every single dish looked absolutely amazing but I would expect nothing less from The Ivy. I completely agree that you get what you pay for (in most cases) and if you can't treat yourself and loved ones at Christmas, when can you. We only live once, so I say enjoy! 🥰
