She received her doctorate in counseling psychology from Columbia University, where she also trained as a fellow in holistic mental health. She is a world-renowned intergenerational trauma expert and the author of the book Break the Cycle: A Guide to Healing Intergenerational Trauma. Her clinical framework is holistic and infuses ancient and indigenous healing practices into a modern, comprehensive therapeutic approach.

I needed this so much! Holidays are and have always been so hard for me. I lost my friend a couple of tear ago and decide to go on a self love journey. I moved away from my family to the Bay area, and have been incredibly home sick. Since then, I have not focused on healing and myself. It has been a difficult journey, but I am so glad to have found this video.
