    i felt the SAME way with every bs grind except crooks, you just gotta start getting the feel for them on a curb that i learned to get them

    Never been able to get this trick the right way. When I do front smith, I feel the board lock on and like relax on the ledge. On the other hand when I do it bs, it feels like its hovering even with the ledge.So frustrating! lol

  • @chronicwhisper
    @chronicwhisper 12 років тому

    even backside noseslides? that was my first ledge trick, but the only thing that kinda helps me on anybackside grind is like the further toward the front of the ledge or rail the easier it feels to get on if that makes since.

  • @snigelsallad
    @snigelsallad 12 років тому

    Same here I can only do backside crooks, noseslides and boardslides any backside trick where the back of the board goes on the ledge I can't do at all.

    @wussupkunt the easiest way is to just Ollie on top of the obstacle a bunch of times and then just start further away until you can aim the trucks. Once you can aim them after a while you will start to Ollie just enough to get on. To do backside nose grinds and back 5-0 is the same, just start out by ollieing backside into a manual on top of the box and as it gets more comfortable just aim for the edge.

    something that will help is rolling up to a curb back side and ollie onto it but staying parall to to curb. once you got that good then try some bs 50-50s on a smallish ledge then learn some other basic bs grinds

    If you are doing these on anything besides a rail, you'll need plenty of wax so the wheel will start sliding instead of shooting out.

    you dont need to know all this for a back smith. heres a trick tip:
    Step 1: Get in that shit.
    Step 2: Put all your weight on your back foot.
    Step 3: Lean back.
    Step 4: Pop out.

    nah, you got dealt a great life card. you don't live in a war torn country. you are healthy enough to learn how to do tricks that are cooler than words can describe. major cities have major downsides. i lived in paris for a year and big cities are not that great. cost of living is so high the average person has to make due with less space than they need and money doesn't go as far, translation- less money left over for quality skateboard or pc. also, living in a smaller city is less dangerous.

    you waste too much of your energy looking for things to argue about.
    do you have a bathroom in your home? if so, then your home is more spacious than many i saw in inner city paris. and again, do you hear the sounds of warfare near your home? and are not you healthy enough to attempt these tricks?
    have you ever noticed that many of the vids of people doing skateboard tricks are not at skateboard parks.
    look around and maybe you will find more other places to work on skateboard tricks.
