I absolutely don't understand why cbc docs would show a mini documentary on those rabbits because of the living condition this women put them trought. RABBITS DON'T BELONG OUTSIDE!! Also we can clearly see when she is sitting down with the rabbit on her lap, the rabbit totally hates it! If it's so old then why put them in such stress? It's only going to decrease their mental health. If this women cannot see what she is doing to those poor rabbits then she doesn't deserve to be their owner.
@@dewwie3112 If they are used to being outside, it is fine I think. That's better than switching, by taking them inside and outside when the temperature inside is different then outside. Also, they do get a thicker coat when it get colder.
They look happy and healthy to me, and they are living good long lives. Bunnies love to be outside, and if the weather is suitable, why not? She clearly loves them and is taking good care of them .The big bunnies are special.

I used to have a rather large flop ear rabbit named Buddy (Buddy Rabbit). He was very sweet and loving most the time. The other times he was rascally. He was always the hit when company came over. He was loved and he loved us. Good times
I LOVE rabbits! They are so loving and gentle; my rebut Bobby- stevie was wonderful. He lived for 8 1/2 years, and he died peacefully a month ago and I miss him every day.😢🐇💕
Best pet I've ever owned in my opinion though I have a dwarf rabbit so he is much smaller. They are gentle and friendly and like silly puppies without the mess and problems.
I've a mix breed who acts exactly like a puppy! He's such a sweet boy. I'd call him gentle, but you know puppies. He's always running around and falling over from excitement

During the great depression rabbits were bread by families in order to have some food. While this isn't the video to.be making edgy comments you have to admit that these would make fairly good bredding stock for food considering that rabbit.meat is much better for eating than chicken.

Jordan Sainte Marie Flemish Giants (or Continental) rabbits are very cuddly animals. They have the personality is equal to a Great Dane dog. If you are looking for a cuddly pet I do most definitely suggest a giant such as this lad. Mini Rex rabbits are a lot smaller and very cute but aggressive and uncomfortable when cuddled.
A lot of bunnies are very cuddly but please do a lot of research if you get one. They don’t belong in cages and it’s best if they’re free-roamed in your house or have a big xpen. I have a rabbit and he just loves cuddling and pets he actually grinds his teeth when I do it and when rabbits grind there teeth during pets it’s the equivalent to a cat purring. If I don’t pet him he nudges me 💀
I thought my New Zealand giant rabbit was big. Still massive, but a little smaller than Darius. Totally the best rabbit ever. So much character and very cheeky. He used to protect our guinea pigs from cats. He was bigger than cats and would beat them up if they tried to kill our roaming piggies. I miss him very much. Best rabbit ever.
I'm so angry and saddened that Darius has been stolen, and we don't know who did it. Why didn't they have any security cameras around the house something? I know I'm being a bit harsh, but the fact is that maybe one of their family members has stolen the rabbit. Very frustrated ngl
As someone who has rabbits himself, it disturbs me how she constantly interferes with what they are doing in this video. "You go here." "Don't do that." "You are too old." She seems like a control-freak, who micromanages each rabbit to a degree, that would annoy me to no end if I was one of them.
To those that don't know, rabbits do not enjoy being lifted since they're prey animals and associate being picked up with being carried in a predator's jaw. If you have to pick up a rabbit be sure to ALWAYS support their back feet with your hands, because if they kick their feet while lifted they can break their spines.
Did Darius ever get recovered? Hoping so from the USA I have a huge Flemish giant Doe but not as big as these Continentals. They are still hard to find here.
She's right. I have had rabbits for the last 12 years of my life and they really are like dogs. They have a lot more personality than people give them credit for.
absolutely. Me and my husband were discussing that the other day they are like really chill dogs. They get excited and playful and they are fun and dopey and so fun to have around. They definitely have more personality than most people know. They have moods and play games and come to know you personally. It's a very awesome pet to have.
I love rabbits du laps. I remember my really intelligent rabbit’s du lap was so big, but she was killed 2 weeks ago by an animal. :(. Don’t take your rabbit for granted, their personality is much more than what it seems.
Rabbits are also a hyper segs machine if you dont neuter the males. They can get to 100 in just mere months (thats why they are the main hunting "game", as they would never extinct)
