I always enjoy how kind and encouraging Penn is. No arrogance at all. Teller . . . Well, he is the perfect silent partner with his wonderful expressiveness!
The kindness is my favorite part of the show. I feel good watching it!
I appreciate they risk they took the risk to lead with kindness. I often wonder how hard of a sell was it to the producers to agree to be supportive over cruel, which sometimes seems to be how people try to increase viewership.
Who forgets to bring their antique 5" miniature sword with a hand-carved hilt to work? That's like forgetting your bank card!
4:35 Hearing him answer: "One time..." which a short pause, I seriously thought he was going to say "At band camp" :D
I heared all the clue words Penn said, but I still have no idea how Alexander would've manipulated anything when he never came close to touching the dagger, let alone anything UNDER that bag. That's crazy!!! Super awesome :)

I have watched so many magic tricks and reevaluation videos that I get pretty good understanding how they do it. But I won’t be able to hide a grain of sand having the knowledge how they do it. The beauty of magic lies in the presentation and not understanding the tricks

I just noticed that three magicians from 3 different seasons made Alyson's ring disappear and reappear Joel ward where he made her ring reappear inside a tennis ball from season 3 ( which was her first season hosting the show the guy (which I don't know his name at the moment made her ring appear in something (which I don't know what it was from season 4 and now him making her ring appear on the sword from this season.
Nice! When I was 10 I had this same gimmick. But with a coin. Cool reimagination of the original prop.

Very likeable magician and what a great trick
I found myself really wanting all those props. I had a box similar to that as a kid. I can't remember what it was for or what was in it originally, but I loved it. Oh! Oh! Wait! It was booze! lol. And hockey cards fit perfectly into it. A testament to my collection and apparently my father's love of booze. :D

The sword id imagine is probably just a letter opener, the stand and box im sure are custom for the trick to work, but the actual sword i bet you could find one somewhere online.

I was so pleased with myself thinking maybe the bell had a magnet that attracted the ring to the top of the box, which would remain hidden facing down in darkness on the table. Except for, well, rings like that almost certainly not being magnetic, the, uh, long distance, and, of course, the itsy bitsy problem of disappearing completely only to reappear behind a curtain.
I have a thought about one way it could definitely work but it's likely not *the* way, would require later sleight of hand, and really, the execution that did actually happen means it doesn't matter because it's a beautiful effect and looks magical.

The ring was dropped into the box then straight out the end into his hand. Never stayed in the box at all. The rattle is a simple weight in the box. His expert level palming fed the ring into the mechanism of the stand. The tilt at 3.55 dropped the ring onto the raised blade point. The tilt lowers the blade into the resting position. A very wonderfully performed piece of art indeed. And a fantastic stand mechanism. This guy is a genius designer too.

This one time at band camp, I did magic with a bell.
His parting comments to Alyson were perfection! The whole performance was just so charming. Alyson too played along nicely, despite her horrendous outfit.
