Been quite a while since the Bangles, missed the reunion, have When You're a Boy, haven't heard much airplay or promotion since then, Love the Bad Co. live cover, fun to watch, hope you can manage a good comeback, but somewhat supprised to see your face again never forgotten.
There's thousands there, but you feel like she's singing especially for you. THAT is the sign of a great performer doing a great rendition of a great song..... Beekeeper blues is especially perfect in execution...... Awesome.

OMG I love Susanna so much. She's so beautiful and sweet that it hurts. This concert was short and sweet, perfect execution. Doing "Walk Like an Egyptian" solo is difficult and she nailed it. Loved how when she started "Eternal Flame" everybody applauded. And "All I Want" is a great song, great rhythm.
And just to finish up, in "Walk Like an Egyptian", is it just me or there was a slight Simon and Garfunkel "Mrs. Robinson" musical arrangement?
How could you not fall in love with this woman.

I love it when Susanna plays acoustic guitar, you can really appreciate her when she plays "rhythm".
I firmly believe that the Bangles should never have broke up in 1989. Susanna could have still done solo projects. The rock sound, electric guitars, her iconic Rickenbacker, and pop rock music with the Bangles, and the more acoustic sound, with her inseparable Taylor acoustic guitar in her solo acts. That's where her solo performances shine.
I love her rendition of "All I Want", her rhythm guitar is flawless. "Eternal Flame", how everybody applauds at the beginning, a song that can be done with electric guitars, or with accoustic, and still sounds beautiful. "Beekeeper's Blues", very good. And I don't know why, but the acoustic version of "Walk Like an Egyptian" with the "Mrs. Robinson" intro sounds even funner than the original, with all the drum machine and artificial whistle sound.
She's so beautiful that sometimes she's a combination of Anne Bancroft and Katherine Ross from that iconic movie. You cannot turn your eyes away. Love you, Susie.
Susannah wanted to give the bangles a break, the band had got unhappy with the music industry and it had stopped being fun and become a grind.

Susanna is 38 here, and she is so beautiful that it hurts. Those closeups! How can somebody be so cute, and so sexy at the same time?
No exagerated 80s hairdos, nor wardrobe. Very simple and unassuming hair and dress, and she looks like every man's ideal woman. And, public service announcement, you do not look at Susanna Hoffs directly into her eyes. At 2:30 she looks directly at the camera for a few seconds, and you remember how those eyes made so many men have lifetime crushes on her. She's like Medusa, you look at her, you're dead.
And today at 61 she's still gorgeous.

I'm such a fan of her tragically overlooked eponymous album. So great to hear a live version of "All I want" - the opening chords are the same as "Twist and shout", I'd never noticed that ! Thanks for posting this fine performance. This artist never ceases to amaze me. It's so logical that she would perform at Lilith Fair, the Bangles are one of the rare all-women bands in rock.

That's because it was on TV, live on tour she would actually hit the high notes and in the original key (referring to Eternal Flame specifically)
"Eternal Flame" is a tremendous song, but it feels like a nighttime song. Seems odd to hear it during the day.
