You're an honest and a respectable gentleman 🙏
You don't have to be ashamed of telling the truth, scamers exist in every country in the world, bad people come in all colors and ethnicities, sadly.
You're doing an amazing job to promote Thailand and Bangkok specifically 👏 keep up the good work
Thank you! One thing to add about the jet ski scam... they will put temporary paint and when you go off riding, the water will wash away that paint and expose damage. So my personal opinion is to not ride jet ski in Thailand at all.
Wtf😱😱😱
They really do that 🤔🤔
That's real crookie😏
Thanks ❤
13:23 it there
Now in patong they are doing the same thing with e-foil rentals
Omg!! 😮that’s terrible
Apart from the scams, I found Thailand very amazing. Thais in general are very welcoming and as a solo woman traveller, I felt very safe.
As a Thai citizen I feel shameful about these kind of people !!! I think this would be good info for all foreigners that going to Thailand :-)
As a Thailand Loving Tourist, from Germany, spending so far quite a year in Thailand at around 20 Visits, i want to say that i got only one time scammed a little Bit. So Thai people are way more fair and friendly to tourists than any other country in my opinion. I happily spend some Money in Thailand and i am grateful to be Welcome in your country 🙏
It's not a Thai thing. Scammers, thieves, bad people exist everywhere.
there are WAY MORE good people in Thailand than bad people
This guy is awesome & honest that really cares about his country & just wants people to have a good time in his country
I used Grab during my stay in Bangkok. I felt safer using the grab application rather than getting in a conventional taxi
Grab is a rip off!
@@4kasiavlogshow so?
@@4kasiavlogs what is the better option?
Bolt any day
Grab can cost more then taxi..one time Grab quote 130 thb but metered taxi only cost 70+ thb
I’ve been in a taxi in Bangkok that every time he pressed the horn the meter went up 50 baht. When we stopped I reached over and pressed the horn a few times. I told him I’m calling the police and only paid for half the meter cost.
Wow! Good to know, never had a clue about this before....thank you !
Good tip 💡
My friends and I had been scammed by a taxi driver and his gang at the Damnoen Saduak floating market. We were charged 2000 Baht per person for the boat ride and the boat driver keep stopping at every shop along the way and make complaint to his friend when we didn't buy anything during the boat trip. We even had to push him to send us back to the boat station after we knew that we had been scammed. On the way back, I complaint to the Taxi driver but he act stupid saying he didn't know them.
It still exist. Today they tried to fool me too
Yup same thing happened to me
I am delighted to see an honest video from a Thai gentleman. I ❤️Thailand and it’s people but, yes, you have got to be aware of scams, constantly. There is good and bad everywhere. First visit to Thailand I fell for the TukTuk scam, I have been back many times but have never fallen for a scam since. I love the country so much that I am moving to Bangkok in 2024. 🇮🇪

Been to the grand palace twice, both times, folks outside said “there is a monk ceremony and it’s closed until noon, but will take me all over”. Seemed like a good deal. However when my thia wife showed up, they just walk away. Second time I had a whole group with me, and wife showed up 8 mins later, I could see there disappointment. The tour guide I got was amazing though right outside the gate.

Thanks for your video friend, I should have seen this video in 2015 :D . I visited Thailand in 2015, and I met with a Tuk Tuk scammer when I went to Grand Palace. He charged me about 500 Bahts from Pratunam market to Grand Palace but he dropped me off before Grand Palace and asked me about another 100 bahts to take me in front of the entrance. I was scared of him and traveled alone to Thailand. That's why I decided to drop and apologize him that I didn't have enough money and to take 45bahts instead of 100bahts. Then I took a taxi when I back to Hotel, the taxi driver charged me only 200 bahts. That Tuk Tuk was a bad experience for me in Thailand. But some people are so kind and helped me a lot in my visit.
Really you have my attention and full respect for warning tourists for the scams problems i feel Happy when i Visit thailand because i love thai culture thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
you are a good man my friend. Thank you for the warning.
🙏 Thanks for sharing your amazing impormision.
Seems we were quite lucky when we took a taxi to our hotel in Bangkok. I approached a Taxi and asked how much it is to our hotel. We then agreed on a price and he drove us there (he first stopped at the wrong place, as he mistook the hotel for another one, but then still drove us to our hotel and only asked for the price we agreed on), but other than that we just took the BTS skytrain 😁 thanks for this interesting video, it's definitely good to know what to watch out for
thank you for this video!
Thank you for your valuable videos and tips, I've learn a lot from your contents as we prepare for our future trip to Thailand.

Thank you for your upload, very helpful as my family is visiting Bangkok next month...APPRECIATE keep up the good work my friend BLESSED and many loves from Singapore !!!
Thanks a lot for this awareness brother.. I would recommend people to use BTS and taxi apps like bolt for everyday commute.. BTS is so very well connected.. I have been to BKK so many times and never ever took tuktuk even once..Also that Go Go bar scam is a real stuff happening too often especially if you are alone.. Overall just stay in your senses and enjoy Thailand.. It's my favorite country.. Just love it ❤
Hi Chon, thanks for this vdo. And you don't have to be ashmed of anything, you are doing a very good job by informing ppl to be aware of possible problems they might fall for.
❤ From your Indian friend.😊😊
RESPECT to you Sir, thank you for bringing awareness to the new visitors because nobody likes to be scammed.
Tqvm for your info 😊
Thanks for the advice. Got taken 'for a ride' by a taxi driver once when I asked him to take me to the Hard Rock Cafe. He drove me around for over an hour and when I complained, he said he didn't know where it was. I just got out of the taxi and gave him the $800 that was on the meter. Really left a bad taste in my mouth and never use taxis in any country if I can avoid it.
Thankfully to see your channel may God bless you and your families ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏 please recommend our channel to friends and family
Love your channel! Found it while looking up current rates of tourist SIM-cards :) You give really great advice for newbies to Thailand.
I am a foreigner myself, but I have lived, studied and worked quiet some years in Thailand. Sometimes, people in tourist locations still try to scam me. It's actually funny if you start speaking thai to them then. They will stop immediately and sometimes even say that they are sorry. Actually, I even met nome really nice scammers that just try to make a living. Thailand is sometimes even lovely when people try to scam you :)
Thak you for your guidence 🙏
Thank you so much 🙏❤ for important information Thanks a million for your kindness 🙏❤
You are so brilliant . Thank you. Coming to Hua Hin next week with my wife.
Very brave and nice of you to make people aware of.. common sense should prevail , but even then , it is always possible to be fooled !!! Your English is good , keep learning and stay safe 👍
Thanks so much Brother.
Thank you Chon. I'm coming to Thailand for the first time and it is good to know some of the scams that exist. That way I can have a good holiday.

Very helpful tips. I been scammed many times as a tourist, but not yet in Thailand. Be wary of scamming on tourists.

Thanks Chon my friend
ขอบคุณครับ ที่ทำวีดีโอแบบนี้ขึ้นมา เพื่อการท่องเที่ยวไทยในระยะยาว ต้องกำจัดมิจฉาชีพพวกนี้ออกไปให้หมด
THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO VERY HELPFUL😽
Check out my others vdo in the channel as well, all useful
Thank you, love your helpful tips
You are so welcome!
It will be my first visit soon, so I am watching as many of your videos. You are amazing 😊
love ur video . i going to thailand this summer july
Thank you again for your Video, it was very helpful. The best experience in transport for me was the Uber App.
Also, let me add my advice that is valid for every place in the world. If you realize you have been scammed or are about to be scammed: Don't get angry and start swinging your fists. It will not solve anything and is guaranteed to get you into a lot of trouble. Not only will the scammers have a bunch of friends nearby, but the police will arrest you as well. Just don't do it.
I live life the same way I drive a car: defensively. And it really works.
I have visited Singapore, Dubai, india and several other places and these are common all over the world. Thank you for being honest and transparent❤ There are hard working people who charge farely for their services and we shouldn't be judging a whole lot of people just based on a few scammers.
