❤ OMG I made it!!!!!! Thank you so much for guiding me through my first pair of socks. I’ve never enjoyed being so basic so much 😅. I love my first pair of socks that are now warming my cold feet (middle of winter here in NZ). Thank you for the free pattern with videos. You are a great teacher with excellent instructions. I am already thinking of my next pair of socks. 😂

I had real trouble following this. I see now that there is a pattern to this that I had a hard time keeping in my head after you stopped leading us through it. What I ended up doing was writing down the pattern elements and then repeating it until I reached the end of the row of kichener stitches. I usually don't have trouble memorizing patterns, but there may be too many elements to this. If anyone else has a problem following it, I recommend writing it down in a way you can follow and just use your notes. Eventually, I'm sure I will be able to do this without following my notes, somewhat like I did with turning the heel. I don't know where I'd be without the videos that are available on knitting. Between these and my notes, I have managed to learn knitting here at home. LOVE the internet era!

This video is so clear on how to close the toe with the Kitchener. On my last pair of socks I couldn’t find a clear tutorial on it and ended up botching the toe. But now I’m confident in my next pair!!

Thank you so much for providing these videos along with your written pattern. I started knitting 10 years ago and only learned the basics before I moved on to crochet and I never picked knitting back up. I finally did because I wanted to learn how to make socks and you made this incredibly easy to follow for someone like me. Only problem now is I have to knit the second sock! I've seen patterns where people knit two at the same time. Could you do that with this pattern?

hey! these tutorials have been awesome! thanks! The link to the needles you use is not working (anymore?) could you re-post it? I'm finding it annoying to slip the knitting back onto my needle, it gets stuck, I'm thinking your needles might be better
