My buddy Tony and I hit the road heading North after Christmas to chase some Walleyes on Mille Lacs Lake. We had plans to fish shallow structure during the low light hours and then head out to deeper structure during the day using an ATV. We were surprised to find a slow bite during Day 1 and that was topped off by some ATV problems. This left us scratching our heads on what to do for Day 2 and our options were minimal. We pulled out on the lake by hand and were greeted by a bunch of hungry Walleye!
