This was a QUICK & FUN build while trying out a technique I've wanted to do for awhile. I encourage you to experiment and try different techniques, enjoy and happy modeling! 👍🙂😉
Great looking build Tim like how the steel body came out, nd all the extra add ins. I may have to try something along those lines here I the future curb sides are fun
Very enjoyable video Tim, as yes I agree 100 percent always try different techniques, not only is it fun, but when it works out you feel great, motivates you do more, love the steel look, When i get to this stage on diecast, sometimes its hard to paint over😂 cheers KC 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸🇺🇸😎👍

Awesome Tim Buddy!! It turned out awesome!!! Love the steel.. it gave me an idea to use a blue filter over top a steel color.. if that makes any sense…anyway model On my friend!!✌️
Like the leather seat as it looks real. Seeing more videos on models made me wonder at age 74, are they still making these models from molds that are 60 years old?

I love the steel body Tim! I think your experiment was a success and I was just saying the other day that I don't mind curb side builds at all. Great work as usual
Right on Joe!! The advantage of a curbside is.... You can use the engine in another build and/or build a kit without an engine. Plus the build goes together quicker and still looks cool sitting on the shelf!
Steel look is great! A nice fun build! With the winter coming along and everyone indoors, would enjoy seeing a video on you Artograph 1530 (any tips and trick you have for it) and how your wife made the cover. Again, another great video, Tim!
Excellent job Tim I think you have the steel look spot on! Thought of doing this one for 24 hour bld glad you mentioned that it’s a little bit of effort to build this one I’ll go w/ another choice 😁

Sounds good Don!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍😉😊🙂👍 I think if I did another I would go with steel color front end instead of black. I was looking for something to break up the all steel color but 100% steel next time!
Tim what tool do you use to cut the aluminum rod to size? I’ve been using the K&S pipe cutter and it does the job but I can’t seem to get an even cut or I get this big burr at the end where I makes the cut using the pipe cutter. Would like to see understand what you use.
I roll the tube under my Exacto blade. I can put together a quick/short vid on cutting the rod if you'd like because I have been asked that question a few other times.
