      Hello! Something isn't working right on my UA-cam app, and I'm not able to answer your question, directly on the comment where you left it. So here's my reply: It sounds like you've added 4 extra increases somewhere. I'm thinking on a row that doesn't have the increases. The V-st increase, is every 4th row. Option 1: I suggest taking a look at your stitches in Row 11, and if you don't find it there, then look over your work 3-4 rows back, up to the point where you are now. Sometimes mistakes don't show up until several rows down the line. Option 2: Pull back Row 11, and omit the increases; so that you're back to the correct number. And then continue with the increases, starting with your next increase row. Option 3: Continue with the shawl, as is. As long as your increases are spaced out evenly, it may work out just fine! The only thing is, your shawl will likely have a bit more fullness to it, and possibly a little flounce, which could give a very nice result! Either way, I hope it works out beautifully! 🤗 I'd love to know how it goes. 💗 Helene

    • @cabinfevercrochet
      @cabinfevercrochet  9 місяців тому

      p.s. Re. Option 2: I meant to pull back on Row 11, and place increases up to the correct number. Sounds like Row 11 might be where you added in extra stitches. Harder to say without seeing it in person. But I hope everything I'd said makes sense, and is helpful.

    I purchased $5.95, the pattern for the Luna Dreams crochet shawl. I watched your videos, but I still had trouble with the placing of the increases. I ended up ripping it out and making a different shawl.
    It was a shame because it’s a beautiful shawl. I think the written pattern needs a little work. Perhaps a chart would have been helpful.

    • @cabinfevercrochet
      @cabinfevercrochet  3 місяці тому

      Hi. I'm really sorry the pattern didn't work out for you. I messaged you via Etsy, with another option. Frustrating enough for you, with all the time spent trying to figure it out. I know staggering the two increases on each side of center is unconventional; but that's what gives the smooth, curved shape, without visible points of increases. Maybe I could do a short video showing the placement again, with my camera panned out more, so you can see the full expanse. If you'd like to give it another try. When I have a block of time to go over the written pattern, I'll see what I can do to update the instructions. A chart is a great idea; but I'm not skilled enough with them, to create one. I do appreciate your input, and for letting me know. 💗
