One tip - when I disconnect from the isolator I put a bit of tape over the top, just to stop crud falling in to it.

I feel for Adam being allergic to wasp stings as well, with the severity of his reaction he should ask the doctor for an epi pen.
I would also suggest you get some citirizine tablets from the chemist and keep them in the first aid box.
If you do get stung then imediatly take one and it will help mitigate the reaction.
Citirizine is antihistamine but being in tablet form is quicker acting and more effective than cream.

i know how you feel my good friend and work mate committed suicide and i ended up having to leave the job . It still effects me now 25 years later always thinking what i could have done

My prayers for Adam it looks like he is allergic to wasps which is common.
I would like to have a coffee with you both because of mental health as I suffer from depression and anxiety but I have also got a major issue with my knees now so depression is getting worse

I think a lot of us have learned over the last few months just how important our jobs are. Obviously they pay the bills etc, but there's way more to it.

I’ve always worked in a team environment albeit an industrial setting. Working as a team builds morale. The current company I’m with is a very nomadic experience. Working away staying in hotels alone of longish durations. Customer based sites where the blokes already have a rapport.
Great video as always Nick. The board change in real time is a really bad idea which the screwfix DIY brigade will definitely copy. It's your channel so post what you think is right but don't forget the influence youtube has these days. We do apprenticeships and go to college to learn these things which are highly dangerous in the wrong hands.

Life has too keep going my coworker is off work right now having chest pains but have to keep moving . It amazes me how they will allow y’all to place your breaker box’s in those little cubby hole areas we have clearance requirements and we can’t install in any type of closet

Hope Adam is ok. I get what you are saying, I started helping a mate do plumbing on the side, enjoyed it, when to college as an adult doing NVQs working towards my Gas cert. enjoyed working with my mate but hated working in houses on my own, when he moved away ( after a divorce) I just stopped plumbing, as I did not want to work on my own. And working as a team is a lot quicker.

That red VIR single to the water main, they probably used the water main as the earth electrode; bonding water mains back in the 50s and 60's and even the 70's was not done as a matter of course.

I have a TT system in my house and the earth connection is via a fabric-covered SWA single cable. 6 copper strands are insulated with rubber which in turn is covered in spiral-wound steel wire and then a fabric outer covering. I've no idea where the earth spike is as the wire just disappears into the wall cavity never to be seen again, but since the Ze is a very acceptable 51 ohms it stays in use.

Thought I’d got a freebie when seen a 32a MCB already in the fusebox the other day! Couldn’t understand why they were advertised as 13 way instead of 14 way makes sense now. Always said the tails clamp should come as standard, i always order one so got a spare now. I tend to spread my kit about too. Starts off tidy but by end of day nearly got whole contents of van scattered about!

Nick. Adam should get a skin patch test if that’s a reaction to a wasp sting I have a nasty feeling he could be anaphylactic to some other allergens that he does not know about. He could come across that in later in life. I would very strongly suggest he has the skin patch as a precaution it could save his life. He may also have to carry an epipen as part of that. I admire your discussion on mental health I also think that your videos also help you in that you can interface with us and let you know many of us who see these really appreciate your banter and talk and you are inspiring many younger sparkys. If there anything we can do for Adam a nice little present to welcome him back it would be nice. What about a nice tool we can do a contribution to that online.

Speedy recovery Adam. Let's be honest, now the Doc's have given him some meds he will be smashing COD for the week. :) I had a reaction to a wasp sting when I was young, not quite as bad as Adam's but it is nasty. I remember feeling rough as sheet and it hurt like buggery. Chin up Nick you are a top dude. Oh and Tomatoes are good for you dude. Tuck in you nonse. :)

Good job, just not sure you marked the board up the way you showed in the video, as the circuit next to the main switch was the SPD not the cooker as shown.
Is he sure it was a Wasp, I got bitten on the hand by a Horse Fly a few years back, didnt even hurt at the time but after a couple of days my hand swelled up like something off the Nutty Professor film, needed antibiotics etc
I hope Adam makes a full recovery and that nasty wasp hasn't permanently ruined his handsome face, or all the girls will be bawling their eyes out.

I was stung yesterday on foot didnt see what but had allergic reaction taken antihistamins but to no effect foot red itchy and swollen

Hope Adam is better I use to do all the donkey work like Adam but know what is wrong to fit and if I need a electricians I call one in even to cut cost I will do the first fix to save time as finding a path to locations but if there is a empty house the jobs is less time waisting.
