I'm so envious about car mechanics now. I became an IT guy instead of this. It's so wonderful if you have the ability to service engines, disassemble, clean, fix, assemble back and listen as it runs smoothly with fresh oil, fresh sealings, fresh everything. Great video.
I reallyyyy luv the video, the only advice to add to your video is to always take the air compressor and compress air throughout the entire exterior valve cover in order to remove all of that dust & particles prior to removing it. That way you prevent any dust and particles from entering into the spark 🔌 chamber and interior engine compartment... Otherwise nice job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yes. The tube seals are fried. That is what causes this. I have to do this job this weekend for a customer on a 2017 Fusion. Some stupid cars like mine have the tube seals cast into the valve cover so when they go bad you can't replace them. You have to replace the entire valve cover.
Perfect timing! I’m doing my 2014 Fusion right now, but couldn’t find one with the right configuration and explained so well. Great video, sir!
I really appreciate your comment, check my playlist for more 2nd gen. Fusion videos like yours. Good luck.

Never is late to start and this could be a great hobby for somebody with the skills you most likely have.

Good review brother.
Should we use a shop vac on the cover before lifting?
That will help a lot, it’s a good idea
Thank you!! 🙂
Do you have to set the timing belt when replacing the head gaskets
Absolutely yes
My spark plug well was full of oil. Do you think i need to replace my valve cover gasket?
Most likely yes
@@TheNomadMechanic thanks

Will this work for a 2.0L Fusion?
It will be similar but I don’t think so because the 2.0 is the ecoboost and the configuration is a bit different
Bro donde trabajas?

Next time please blow or vacuum that debris. Good videos but makes it hard to view when ya dont dust off the thing. Lol
