- in todays video my friend and I take you on a tour through an abandoned Castle that was owned by a very rich Arabian family as their summer home. The castle dates back to the early 19th century when it was built by a very wealthy Luxembourgish family with 13 children. After all of the children moved out the man decided to turn the castle into a hotel which ran up until the owner passed away at the age of 64. then it was purchased by a wealthy Arabian family. sadly that owner passed away around 2015 and the castle has been left abandoned and full of everything ever since.
I am an Urban Explorer from Oklahoma just traveling around finding the coolest forgotten places! follow me on my journey around the world finding the best unknown forgotten places on earth!

Other than the outside exterior there is nothing castlesk about this place .fireplaces are beautiful! but the furniture and everything else inside is that of the late 70s early 80s junk.

This is so cool, it’s super interesting to see lots of Arabic influences come together in a house in Europe. The portraits are actually of Saudi kings, and the living area has that many couches because it’s a place for guests (it’s called majlis) where male members of the family usually hang out in big groups. The hospital bed could possibly be there because lots of wealthy Arabs travel to Europe to receive medical care.
Jan 23, 2015 · Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz died and was the royal who had a summer castle in Europe. He was not ill that long before he entered the hospital and passed away in SA.
It looks like it was a very nice castle from the exterior. The interior doesn't look as if it was maintained very well. It also looks like the family fled quickly.

Thanks for giving us a good history of the place before starting the explore. Very much appreciated. Definition of castle: a large fortified building or set of buildings. I believe this home fits that description…. . It helps to understand the architectural design of the place.. it was a very beautiful place at one time…. Awesome fireplaces with the carvings..,

Happy Birthday! I saw an exploration video of this place done some time ago. It has really deteriorated since and looks like thieves have taken things.Some people really like the decayed look but it doesn't excite me much. Dust and cobwebs don't bother me but the decay and when places get trashed by criminals, well, that does. But thanks for the updated video. Stay safe.

Just curious as to why you left a great place like Oklahoma to move to Ohio. I know most of OK is rural, but it's such a great place to get away from society.

My family stems from Alsace-Lorraine, which is a region that has it's own culture, language, and is constantly being claimed by both, France and Germany. It should be its own Country. It's normal to find people there with French first names and German Surnames.

It would take a good amount of money to restore that. It's not the best I've seen, but it should be restored. Muslims do not appreciate the European manner of living and they certainly don't respect European architecture. That was a picture of His Majesty the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz AL Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After he died then there was King Salman bin Abdulaziz. But he was very ill so the power is in the hands of his son Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. The reason there are so many chairs and sofas in the room off the dining room is because that's how Saudis situate their furniture across from one another to have direct face to face speaking.

Good job man. Pace was a little slow so speed it up a bit would be my only suggestion. I know you had to walk slow because of the sketchy flooring though. Edit a bit more might work

You said this was built by that guy in the nineteenth century which would mean the eighteen hundreds. Those photos of him in the home are definitely not from the eighteen hundreds, nor is anything in the home. TVs, phones, a stuffed animal from The Lion King movie, etc. That place hasn't been vacant very long. I'd say maybe 5 years at most.
Continue to living there is risking your life. & refurbishment gonna cost almost like the price of castle . No wonder is abandoned.

The inside doesn’t really match the outside, unless the picture you showed of the outside was of a different castle? The outside castle pic looks way bigger than what was inside. Be safe in them relics.

That don't look like a castle just more of a mansion or like a manor house. Am from the UK so we have a lot of castles here but this house in my country would not be considered as a castle for sure.

That’s not true, king Salman is still alive no one died but the owner of this castle is actually Prince Nayef his assets are being frozen and he’s under house arrest no one talks about him and we don’t know if he’s even alive. It has nothing to do with the castle haha

Were there signs of water damage? Trying to figure out why the floors were giving so much. Typically because of moisture or termites to the wood.
