What I enjoy about ASMR, especially talked ASMR, is that it helps with my attention troubles. I just set a moment dedicated to it, I sit or lay down, so I can focus on it only and nothing else.
You know, it calms my mind because I really have to focus on one thing. My brain would usually go hyperactive without the ASMR. I think in our modern world, we are often overstimulated and as a result we get bored pretty quickly when it's not the case. Maybe we should stop trying to do everything at once in our daily lives, and just enjoy the moment, because we can create plenty of quality time if we really stop looking, and start seeing instead.

okay that is literally what I was JUST thinking about this morning. How our brains were never meant to do so many things at once (when we use our phones). Even just how quickly we switch between apps and expect our minds to keep up. I totally get what you mean, I think we all have overstimulation problems!! So glad that the ASMR is helping, I use whispering videos for that purpose too :)
