Hey Glenno, what kind of muffler are you running? I wanted to get the power or mega bomb header and a 14" oval delkevic muffler. But fmf says their header is only compatible with a fmf muffler
@@ryanfahrne5318 .. what ever I said in my last carby video is what it was running.. I sold the KLR to a good mate and 3months later the bike was stolen..🤬
When I refresh my motor, I plan to do the 685 kit and perhaps this pumper carb mod, I already have the pipe aftermarket header and the air box/carb re-jetting mods plus to much to list on the bike as of now, as it sits my 1st Gen, pulls away from my friends 2012 model with ease, his is stock so no big deal.
Yo Glenno when you have it totally dialed in please comment the final settings, jetting and everything you had to do I will do this mod but I'd like to know what final jetting you had to use to run clean through the whole range.
Had to dump bike... Was drifting with Dunlop 606 rear.. came into corner way too hot and when slide rear wheel around was still going straight ahead.... what you can't see is the 100m+ cliff face I was heading for... so it was drop bike or fly .... the KLR suspension can't handle that lol..... b4 that I was drifting like a bastard.... now when I drift it's on a KTM 625 SMC.....
I like the idea of the bigger carb. But I guess there will be a penalty with higher fuel consumption. I guess thats the price we pay for performance and fun. KLR 650 Is highly underrated. Great inexpensive bikes.
cruising on hwy is actually cheaper on fuel but when your up it and using the power it drinks a bit more....if you have self control its very economical....i dont have any self control....hehe...thanks for the comment....
You gotta due what you gotta due to bad for the neighbours I'm sure they can stand little noise they could have a few hogs flyin up and down there streets

get it on the dyno bra. my 719cc pulled over 60ftlbs at 5k. this is the best torque mod for big bore klr I have used to date.

wish Mikuni Oz would push forward with a LHS pull/cable set up for the 42....way more bikes it would fit without mould tabks etc

A 650 single should have have some pretty torque to it especially first 3 gears
BikeRidinManiac ...... Yeh... factory carb has nothing on Mikuni.... torque and power....
Mikuni gives so much more...
Nice one mate. Subbed.
