The difficulty of the DJ is not technical in the djing, but in knowing what to play. People don't want you playing the same set every night like a band, you have to know how to read the crowd. And making EDM music is not easy at all, Hardwell himself took 5 years of learning before he started to get any good. Guys like Martin Garrix went to music school as children too. People just like to bash what they don't know about for some reason.

Woopy Jr. I’m personally not defending him, just stating facts. I can tell as an experienced drummer Marshmello showed he has at minimum basic drum skills in that first beat. Then he degraded from there for the purpose of the show, to make the gap between him and Travis obvious to the fans that have no idea what they’re looking for/listening to.
