That won't destroy your battery. However, if you are going to store your watch and not use it for longer than 6 months, then it is a good idea to press record and discharge the battery down to about 50% or so before storing in order to maintain optimum performance. Note that the same is true for ALL LiPo battery powered devices, not just our devices.
I have the sun spy watch. It will not blink 3 times for record-it only blinks once then light goes off. Is it defective or does watch need to 1st be formatted before u can use it to record? Also how do u reset it?

Since you purchased from another seller, and the LEDs are not blinking as shown in my video, either the watch is defective, or you simply have a clone, or copied watch, not an original as my video shows, in which case the LEDs will behave differently.
watadeeel -I will return that watch and order from u. U have an important court date on sept.15 that I need to smuggle watch in for. I will order now but 1st-is there a better watch or is this one good enough-and can I get it before the 15th so I can have time to test n make sure it's good
You can wear the watch on either right or left hand and it works the same and the video will have the same orientation. Think about it: If you buy a regular wristwatch, it can be worn on either hand with the face right side up. So in the same sense the camera stays right side up, regardless of the wrist.
The LED only flashes 3 times when you start recording then it goes out. So the whole time you are recording it is not on at all. It stays off while recording video.
Hey, I have the silver spear spy watch and when I turn it on the light goes blue for about a second and then it turns red and blinks 10 times. After the 10 blinks it blinks red again faster about 5 times and turns off. i don't think it's the battery because I've charged it and it keeps doing the same. I also deleted all the files so it is not out of memory either.
You are probably using a Mac. Plug the spy watch into your Mac, delete all files, the, with it still plugged in, EMPTY your trash bin. Your Mac is putting hidden system files and folders on your watch. I run across this every now and then from customers.
I have the silver watch with leather strap. the video recording stops at 15 mins and it wont continue after that. is that normal or is there a setting I should be doing?

Hello I have a digital camera watch I received about a year ago and I think the battery is weak or I have to replace it how do I find out how is the battery working it did not come with a CD instruction manual the manual with was very unreliable and I lost the little screw buttons on the side of the audio the one with the pinhole I lost it do you sell those.

watadeeel I think he means like with clock spy cameras where the clock shows an upright video orientation (where the hidden camera lens is in the 12 or the centre of the hands that tick and move around it) so if you were to have a watch on with the similar set up you could record what is around you with your arms down against your legs/thighs, in front of you instead of at the side of your body and adjust the height or the aim of the shot by raising or lowering your wrist. So basically if the camera lens was on the 9 instead of the 6. I too would love a watch that had that function. I think it would be easier to aim to get specific targets. To date my best spy camera is the watadeeel lighter because I always get the exact area I am directing it towards where I have found it more difficult to get the exact target with the watch.
I purchased the G shook motion detection watch & when I power it on, the blue led blinks then records video. is that supposed to happen? If not, how can I by pass it if possible
On some models, when you power the watch up, it automatically begins recording. This is what yours does. You cannot change the "One press recording" feature. If you want to power up but NOT start recording right away, simply press once to power up, then press again as soon as the Blue LED blinks. This will put it into standby, and it will not start recording unless you then press the button a third time.
The LED does not stay on or turn on while recording. If you are highly concerned about the LED, and never want it to come on at all, then what most people do is cut out a tiny piece of black electrical tape and put it over the LED. This item must have some kind of indicator to show what it is doing. If this watch had no status LED, and you had to operate the item by pressing the buttons and trying to guess what it is doing, it would be an absolute nightmare to operate. Everyone would return their item and demand a refund, because it would be too hard to use. You wouldn't know what it was doing at any given time. How would you know? You would look at your watch, with no LED indicator, and you would wonder "Is it on? Or is it off? Is it recording? Is it in picture mode? What is it doing?" Whenever you say "That item should not have an indicator", please think of what the alternative would be. It would be completely unusable. It would be stealthy, oh yes, for sure, because even you wouldn't know what it was doing. Ever.

They are all 1080p and the same or similar quality, really it's just a matter of what style you like. I prefer the Delta Tech, personally.

If you are highly concerned about the LED, and never want it to come on at all, then what most people do is cut out a tiny piece of black electrical tape and put it over the LED. If this watch had no status LED, and you had to operate the item by pressing the buttons and trying to guess what it is doing, it would be an absolute nightmare to operate.
