this guy is the greatest !! i placed a phone call to him from a number on a business card that came with my spy watch..couldnt find my way through windows to get the date and time set up on my watch( yeah, i know, computer dummy) always have been! Anyway, this guy called me back within an hour or so, and STAYED with me through all of my ignorance until we got the time set up on my watch..even answered questions and gave me some tips on using the watch, AND, remaind patient as hell all the way through the call. Awsome, Awsome person..I would do business with him any day of the week !!!! On a scale of five stars I rate him a TEN, or FIFTEEN stars !!

Your printed instructions that come with it is great and your video instructions are even better.. you get an (A +) in my book!... +Hoang Vu --- On some watches, you can turn the time stamp off, and turn it back on. If yours has this capability, simply add an "N" to the end of the time.txt string. Then you can turn it back on by using a "Y" instead. For example: 2016-05-08 18:20:00 N
+watadeeel --- In the above example, ignore the blue color which youtube added to the time part. It is impossible for me to type a time string in a comment without youtube apparently thinking I am giving a link to a specific part in the above video.
just saved me a whole load of testing! i'd tried deleting everything in the text file, i'd tried deleting the text file, i'd tried making a bunch of spaces followed by the Y, but now i read this, stick an N on the end of the timestamp and its great! no need to have a date filling up half of the screen :)

+alan lawson --- You must follow the exact format as shown in this video, and then simply adjust according to your timezone. It doesn't matter what time it is in America when you set your watch in the UK. Set it to UK time!
You know, there are so many devices out there. We don't have any kind of "compatibility list". Most people use this item on a Mac or PC. If your device is able to see external devices like thumb drives, then it should work just fine.
I don't understand you question at all. "why don't you set the time and date same as of real time but in the same format"?? What does this mean? I won't say your question is stupid, but it does have me scratching my head.
You mean why can't you just set the time and date on the watch face, and then have that time reflected in the video timestamp? Because the clock and the camera are two completely separate independent systems within the watch.

My time stamp is no longer accurate, how do you correct?
so what happens when you live in the UK the time isn't set up the way you have it do you just set it up with the Day/Month/Year

You can't change the resolution. It is 1080p HD video all the time.
