Why the lights were flickering off let me explain, so the plane has another engine in the back called APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) it may be sometimes broken but no need to worry it’s common on a330s, I was flying on an a330 the APU was also broken but as I said no need to worry about

I think your last arrival were using budget airline from perth - jakarta that will take you to old terminal 2 arrivals (jetstar, air asia, lion air, batik air, scoop, jet star, etc) , this one is terminal 3
That's the thing I don't get, most people will say they love travelling, but do they? Really? In 2024??? I used to be ok with traveling, but that was in the 80's and 90's. Now? With chronic illness and the vast distances, crowds, I HATE it. I love just being somewhere else though ... Beam me up Scotty ... shame we will never see those days. 😂
Really mayhem situation travel day..sorry for that but I guess it will be better route from Bali to Singapore first than Jakarta.. Singapore is asian hub airport with a comfort waiting situations..

On your 1st flight, are you flying the older outdated Airbus A330-200 or 300 and on all flights like your 2nd and 3rd flight, what's the seat number?
I'm not sure what the plane was for the first flight, but for the second and third flights we were seats 35A and 65A!

The lights flickering is like the scene in Final Destination. I would have been freaked out especially if the tray table hook breaks

The light flashing could happen during pushback but not during taxi or throughout the flight
It was happening during take off and taxi, but only for the first 10 or so minutes of flight luckily
Why not fly direct with turkish airlines from Bali?
The direct flights on Turkish and Emirates were double the price and we're cheap haha

we were definitely not getting a better or more direct flight, but we got a realllly good price ones these haha
