when we were there last 2017 and 2019, it was still very clean and maintained. now, it seemed to have lost its glory. even the bridge is not in good shape, which is a welcoming view to the tourists. :( hoping they will improve it.
you can say it's decent because it's your first time. but if you happen to visit it before (i did it twice, 2017 and 2019), you could really compare the difference. cleaner surroundings, nice bridge, clean buildings. possible that the pandemic hit them hard and still recovering.
Yes but, they give you a password ticket not long enough to last your whole trip. Also, if you get the cottages farthest from the main area the wifi does not work.
My impression of Lakawon is that the business running the island is very good at getting money out of you. The farther cottages are gross and the wifi does not reach. Everything is pricey. They make you pay to get on the floating bar. The smart people just do a day trip and they bring all their food and drinks. It's as exotic as they advertise. The wifi is offered with a script with the password. It's weak and does not cover the whole area. I had to keep going back for more scripts since we where there for 3 days.
I will advice you to book in advance to avoid any inconveniences, open the video description, I have given the resort links. But you can also book when you reach the island, the booking place have shown in the video at 27:50.
This is so ridiculous boat fare was too expensive! where is in Masasa Tingloy i ride Montenegro passenger small ferry and its only 260php including the environmental fee then going back was only 160php. Overpriced for lakawon 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Grabe nga pang into nila ba!

I find the island resort decent, food was good specially. I just wish they don't charge the tourists extra for the boat, like happened with us.

Hi! Is there a wifi signal on the island?
Yes but, they give you a password ticket not long enough to last your whole trip. Also, if you get the cottages farthest from the main area the wifi does not work.
