Have stayed in both Amarela and Fox and Firefly and they are both amazing locations. We did the Fox and Firefly paddle board tour of Loboc up to the falls. One of the best experiences ever. Both places have good food-Amarela's breakfast buffet is so good.
Hope you'll consider visiting SIQUIJOR, just south of Bohol. You can USE these as GUIDES: a. Siquijor COASTAL Tour: ua-cam.com/video/XvYpvcwu7mM/v-deo.html b. Siquijor MOUNTAIN Tour: ua-cam.com/video/31QW98A9MU0/v-deo.html
Am a Boholana and I learned so much from your video.I hope to visit one of these resorts. Like you I will most likely stay at the Fox & Firefly. Thank you for sharing your experience. Mabuhay at Tagay na!
After watching your video, I immediately booked 3 nights in Fox and Firefly Cottages for my trip to the Philippines next year. It looks totally awesome and so unique, I didn't even bother looking for other lodges. I also like that it's a riverside resort and not the usual beachside. It also seems much closer to Chocolate Hills compared to had I stayed in Panglao. I can't wait! Thanks for the tip man. I wouldn't have found Fox and Firefly had I not stumbled upon your video.
There are plenty of resorts in Bohol. Maybe in the future, you can include those. Try to explore Jagna and Anda, Bohol for a quiet small town feels but with beautiful places to stay in.
Sorry to say that but Resorts are way much overcharged. The Title could be just coming from the mindset of the owners and not really from a local tourist perspective
Renzo, this is excellent information as I'm planning to vacation there in Bohol (my late grandpa's birthplace and Iloilo (my grandmother birthplace). Thank you so much! !
Bohol is home for amazing resorts talaga, though some are not budget-friendly huehue but I fell in love with the one in Loboc- a kind of resort that truly gives you a great bohol experience 🙌🏾 PS: Let’s promote our tourism with its own identity and not compare it to other countries like Bali. Keep doing your thing 👏🏽💯
Nice choices but "DONATELA" resort and sanctuary tops them all. It's in the pricey side but you won't regret it. Be Grand and South Palms are worth mentioning too.
Proud From Bohol here, please try also the other side of bohol, ANDA , they have white sand beach resorts as well with much cheaper than other resorts.
I'm considering booking at Fox and Firefly, but I'm concerned about the evening temperatures since there's no air conditioning. Could you let me know how warm it tends to get at night? Is it something we'll have to tolerate or is this not an issue at all. Around 72F would be ideal and we're going to Bohol in December.
If you visit Bohol friends and not friends i promise you that you can visit also the best landmark of the world at Bohollywood. I swear ✋. Almost 50 beauty spot here👍👍
Love the places you visited & I personally appreciate that you gave more time for each resort in this video. Thumbnail was giving, too! Keep giving po, sir! Here as a fan but also for the 500 HAHAHAHAHA SANA MAPILI PO
I haven't found a hotel in Bohol with warm water swimming pool all their water are cold .foreigners prefers warm water to dive into to prevent one from getting crumps.i almost drown last time I was there good thing I have my family with me and rescue me before the drowning occurs .that was a very bad experience .

I travel one week out of the month and hotels I stay at never more then 4k per night, not sure how often you travel and stay at hotels that are so overpriced really!? Just do more research and you can find more bang for the buck.

I felt something magical when we visited Bohol. It's definitely #1 on my retirement home list. 🥰

Hi! For the kayak in the mangrove area, is it exclusive for modala quests only? If not, how to book it?
Do they offer firefly tours? Is it their own firefly tours? Which firefly tour would you recommend ? Abatan or Laoy?
Great video and very informative, thank you! Makes me want to stay on all the 5 resorts. 😊
Glad you liked it! Hope you get to visit 🙏

Proud From Bohol here, please try also the other side of bohol, ANDA , they have white sand beach resorts as well with much cheaper than other resorts.
I will next time!
The fox and the firefly cottages. Is there one or two beds? I see the upstairs part with the balcony. I'm assuming that a separate rental
Yes, separate rental for upper and lower. One bed each!
I'm here now. I really wish I'd see this a month ago. Great video
Thanks!

BKA SI RENZO ANG UNANG MABINTA LOL
Mahal di ay
Five resorts in Bohol that ARE (not is) worth every peso. You're talking about five resorts (plural).
You’re right but Filipino broken English > proper English 😂
That is collective noun. So He consider it as singular. pwede na yun basta maintindihan.
@@reynaldoranises7665 LOL! Sit down. You need to take a remedial class. Btw, its "He considers(NOT consider) with an "s" if the noun is singular).
