They got the 2000's/2010's all wrong, I remember like snowboarding style was everything and even skiers wore that.
I didn't realize there was a style in 2000+, I still sport my 10+ year old Columbia and the wife her 20+ year old Spyder jacket...LOL Unless you ski every day the gear last a life time.
As an actual skier, thought it was a total miss that they didn't include, helmets, real ski boots and goggles. The fashion and technology for all 3 of those have changed throughout the years.

Disappointed they didn’t include helmets. Every year people die because they feel like they’re too cool to wear a helmet while skiing so it would have been nice to see a fashion magazine like glamour actually promote them as fashionable. I know that earlier decades wouldn’t have worn them but at least for the past two decades the vast majority of skiers I’ve seen have worn helmets.

No one on the slopes actually wears that 2010 style, which is about the time we started wearing helmets as I recall... this looks more like a generic winter vacation style, so it makes sense they have no helmet, no ski suit nor ski boots... 😁

I personally would have liked this Glamour video to feature ski helmets too

The 2010s isn’t ski wear, it’s apres wear. No ski boots and no helmet? Come on. I think a Patagonia parka and some info on the latest material innovation would have been much more relevant.

Maybe I just dress practically but I've never worn leggings when skiing. Even on hot days I'll wear sweatpants or pajamas instead of my snowpants

Tween clothing wasn’t really a thing until like the 1950/60s until then they just wore smaller, shorter an lesss detailed versions of what their parents wore

I think they nailed it. I don’t know where you are skiing but you could and can find this look in Ischgl, Kitzbühel, etc. and those are not absolute beginners but people who’s parents put them on skies when they were babies

I'm an actual ski racer, lol why were they wearing leggings, hats and snow boots, in the last ones they would have had snow pants snow boots and helmet. I wish it was about racing gear though not just skiing.

Women didn't start wearing pants till the 70's certainly not the 30's
Depends on the place and context. I have pictures of my grandmother wearing pants as early as the 1940s--she lived in a very rural area and wearing a dress would be inappropriate for outside chores or hunting game. Though, she likely wore a dress or skirt for more public-facing activities, like going into town or church services.

LOL Funny how modern times the channel felt they needed to be all inclusive and alternate race, even had a heavy gal to cover that bases....LOL Let's be honest you don't often see some races on the slopes and for sure wouldn't have in the early years.
Of course anyone that isn't an idiot wears a freaking helmet when they go sliding down an icy hill at upwards or 20 miles an hour. I know you guys are about fashion, but it actually makes me angry you didn't touch on the safety aspects AT ALL.
You definitely wouldn't have seen a fat black girl skiing in the U.S in the 1920s! Bizarre choice for a video about historical accuracy!
